I have three different bikes, plus a best friend I ride with. I also have a Burley tail wagon and a 46 pound goldendoodle who loves to ride. I love being able to use any of my bikes to ride with my dog. It’s also wonderful to have a hitch on my best friends bike for her to take a turn hauling when she’s tired of waiting for us to catch up. it works great and easy to install. And it was so much easier for us to move the moppet to my friends bike. One day we rode and I was having asthma issues and we wanted to switch her to the other bike. I bought this hitch because it was a great price. I was very impressed by the quality! Used it to attach a 2-seater Honeybee bike trailer to an old mountain bike that does not have the easy-to-remove style wheels with a simple release mechanism. Therefore, the install process took watching a YouTube video.. but was really very easy! Since install, I have gone on several rides between 5-15 miles pulling my 25lb toddler, and have had absolutely no issues. It seems very sturdy and safe! ... show more

    • Cheap alternative, did not fit my 12mm rear axle.
Product is advertised to fit solid 12mm rear axles. This one was just a 1mm or so shy of fitting. I made it work by drilling out the hole bigger. Could be a manufacturing defect for mine specifically but nevertheless I had to modify it to make it work. I own the Burley version of this steel hitch as well. They are slightly different but I don't think that will affect the actual performance of the product. Apart from it not fitting the 12mm rear axle out of the box, this seems like a solid product at a cheaper price tag. The price that Burley charges for a replacement/2nd hitch is too much. ... show more

Definitely a great replacement item! We got an original with our Burley bike trailer and needed a second one so we could trade off who pulled the kids without swapping this part. This part worked just fine and is honestly a little better made than the original!
