Been shooting with this camera for a little over a month now and beyond impressed by the image quality, durability, and its size. Brought this camera to Iceland and I am very happy with the images. I purchased this camera with the 16-50mm lens. The quality of these images is on point with this little guy. It really packs a punch and I love the fact that Fuji has given this camera those actual physical dials to turn change the exposure, shutter speed, etc. I think the exterior of the X-T20 looks like a classic camera bringing back memories of old style camera. It just looks very sharp in my opinion. I had used this camera in very very cold weather (up to -14C) in Iceland with high winds in the upper 20's. Camera held up like the champ it is. It also did get damp from being near waterfalls and no problems noted. Having a camera with this size is a huge advantage. On my 7 day trip it didn't feel as I was carrying a cinder block in my backpack. As far as battery life goes these batteries are not meant to shoot thousands of pics, therefore I would recommend buying a separate battery. I had to change batteries only one day after shooting 400+ pics and taking some videos. Overall, I am very very pleased with this camera and look forward to buying new lenses and continuing to take amazing photos. ... show more

Great camera, rivals any DSLR I have ever used. Only down side so far to it is that the hand grip for my right hand has no room. Basically I am constantly hitting the buttons with the thumb part of my palm while trying to take pictures. This brings up a sync option for what I think is the flash. It's happened a lot while getting ready to take a photo using the EFV. Eventually I will learn to pay more attention to where my palm is at in relation to the camera and I think that issue will die down a lot. This camera is just remarkable though. ... show more

I like the camera a lot. I've had it about three weeks. It is well balanced and feels similar to my favorite film SLR except it is only half the weight. The controls are mostly well placed and have a quality feel. My only complaint about the controls is that the right side of the back panel has too many buttons. It is hard to pick up the camera and not press one of those buttons ( I am right handed). I'm not sure they are all needed. The other short coming is the owners manual. It really does not explain well how certain functions don't work in all modes. It does not do a good job explaining what all the buttons and wheels do. Also, I did not know it when I purchased this camera, but the seller was selling this without a US warranty. The camera is a gray market camera. There was no warranty with the camera. Through Amazon, we sent the seller a message asking about a warranty, but the seller did not respond. I don't think that it is right for Amazon or the seller to sell a product like this with no warranty and not indicate that before the sale. I did not realize that it was a gray market camera until I received it and saw that there is no warranty. ... show more

I have had several cameras from several different manufacturers in the past with the favorite always being the Sony. Before settling on this camera, I read and watched a lot of reviews for this and many similar cameras from the competitors. Being that I had always liked the Sony, it came down to this camera and the a6000. I'm not disappointed with my choice to say the least. Pretty much all the reviews are accurate and can be summed up as yes the grip is a bit small and yes the mounting threads are annoyingly placed (both of these are addressed by the hand grip that came in the kit); but yes the controls and the menus couldn't be more intuitive for the amount of control over everything the camera gives you, the hardware is as good as you could hope for in this price range; and as a result the photos and video this camera is capable of are astonishing for something of this size. While it is true the image stabilization is in the lens, it seems to handle the job adequately enough to shoot some pretty smooth video in the 4K it is capable of. Bottom line is if you want a camera that has a screen that can flip around so you can do a good selfie or shoot youtube videos of yourself and have a 95% chance of getting a decent shot, the Sony is probably the camera you want. However, if you want a tool that can produce something a bit more than just a decent shot, then this is the camera you want. ... show more

Holds nicely to the remain hand, not as heavy as competitors. Wonderful images. Bought for photography course, out performed all other brands of camera in classroom!! Even purchased the upgrade, but this one is the Goldilocks “just right”.

This camera is amazing, and attached are a few pictures I took from it. I wanted to photograph my own food for my online farm store, and the camera has not disappointed me. The wireless feature for transferring photos or taking remote photos is a little klunky, but it works.

This review isn't so much about the camera as it is about warranty, and respect for your customers. It is widely known that Fuji cameras have had a manufacturing defect which means the CMOS won't store the camera's settings. When the battery is removed, the settings you thought were saved disappear. It's a defective CMOS or something. Should be handled as a defect and repaired even out of warranty, IMO. Of course, Fuji doesn't see it that way. So boo on them. Alas, this camera can recharge its battery via a USB cable, meaning, in some cases, like mine, you never knew the defect even existed. As long as there's a battery and its kept charged, your settings will appear to be saved. I went and sold the camera and the person who bought it returned it stating the battery issue. Hey Fuji. Admit your products have defects. It's all fair and good to have parts fail and fail out of warranty. It's bad form for them to never have worked right in the first place. ... show more

I know the X-T30 just came out but this bad boi still packs a punch. I paired mine with a 23mm F2 and am loving every shot. The box came in unscathed as did the camera and lens it came with. My only qualm was that the manual seemed to be used before (the wrapping on it was torn on the bottom and had a hard crease in the book so if you laid it flat it showed the page that describes how to connect the straps to it). I’m worried the camera might’ve been used before and returned although I haven’t found any defects yet. ... show more
