This is a beautiful dress, have tried a number of different dresses (J Kara, Calvin Klein...) for a wedding overseas, needed something dressy but not heavy. So comfortable! Has a nice stretch to the fabric and the Navy color is deep blue with a little bit of bling added makes it perfect! It's the winner out of 10 other dresses tried, fits great, went up size (14) since wanted it to be little loose, 5'3" 160lbs, fits perfectly and no scratching from the sequins. Love it and can highly recommend. Arrived really fast too.

The media could not be loaded. Measure yourself, then use the size chart. My measurements are 46-40-46, 5'3". Alex Evenings' size 16 petite fit me best, but 16 regular also fits and usually costs less. I am keeping this style in 16 regular in "new champagne". The dress is lined, but I can feel the texture of the detailed fabric through the lining. I'll wear a full slip to stay comfortable for a full day of mother of the bride activities in Moab, UT, in October. Color matches pictures on the model, but I like it on me better--I'm glad I tried it! This is the 64th dress I tried on. I have also been watching prices of many dresses from May through July 2023 (from J Kara and Alex Evenings), but I haven't seen the price for this dress change - $218.95. The shoes are Ann Creek 'Lossom' 2.5 inch pumps in pewter.

Alex Evenings dresses are usually a nice fit for me and I bought a size 12 a year ago for my son's wedding. This particular dress (also a 12) is more fitted and not as complimentary and forgiving as my previous purchase. Also, a bit of a gap in the arm holes. The color was pretty much like the picture. This may work well for someone that has a slim figure. I'm 5'7" and weigh 150 lbs.
