  • They are expensive but, overall, worth the extra cost
I am using this in a Fujifilm X-T3 camera. It only came with one battery and, the way that these batteries drain rather quickly, having extra batteries on hand is critical when out in the field. So, when I started researching for additional batteries on Amazon, I came across several brands that were MUCH CHEAPER, like, 1/2 to 1/3 the cost of the OEM Fuji batteries. So, I took a chance and bought some. They worked just as well as the OEM battery with one BIG problem. Over time, these cheaper batteries started swelling. It is almost imperceptible to the eye but I started noticing it when they were "binding" when sliding them into the camera body. The last thing I need is to brick my expensive camera rig with a battery that won't slide out of the battery compartment when I need to swap it out. I read up and found out that this is a problem that many others have experienced. So, I could just purchase a bunch of the cheaper batteries and chuck them whenever they got too swollen or purchase the OEM battery. Well, my original OEM battery is running strong and has never given me any problems. So, I decided that my next purchase was another of the OEM models. This is that battery and it works great. More expensive? Yes, initially, but over time I expect it will pay for itself. ... show more

  • Save money. Buy the real thing
There are many third party batteries you can buy for your Fujifilm camera, but none of them will perform as well as the authentic NP-W126S. The difference in the length of a charge is substantial

  • kind of expensive, but OEM Fujifilm batteries are the best
idk about you, but i didn't spend a thousand bucks on an x-t3 just to stick cheap batteries in it and pray that they don't expand and get stuck in there. when recording 4k video, you are going to burn through these quickly. this is why i also purchased the vg-xt3 battery grip, and a cp-w126 dummy battery, because running off an ac adapter is better than burning through these whenever possible. wanna record 4k video? better get a few of these. otherwise, i get about 350-380ish photos per battery, without using the grip. yes, there are cheaper options out there. i'm not willing to risk my expensive gear to save a few bucks though. ... show more

  • Pricey m, but avoid 3rd Party
I originally bought Watson 3rd party batteries as my spares when I got my Fuji X-T3 two years ago. After 1 year, the Watsons wouldn’t hold a charge as long as the Fuji originals. Then by the 2 year mark, the Watsons started physical swelling while he used - to the point that they would get stuck in the camera body! All the while, the original Fuji batteries act like they are brand new. ... show more

  • Don't store fully charged!
Primary purpose of my review is to simply reiterate something from the manual; yes the manual that comes with the battery that most people promptly toss in the trash given it's a manual, for a battery... This is a Li-Ion battery, and the manual advises, as do those in the know about battery chemistry, that for maximum service life and charge capacity, you should NOT store the battery fully charged for extended periods of time. If you plan to not use the battery for a while, you should ideally get it down to about 40% charge for storage. Yes it's a minor pain to have to re-charge it before intended use, but that's not too bad as these charge in a few hours with the OEM charger. In any case, not much else to say. It's an expensive battery, in fact almost 3x the cheap-o Wasabi (with charger), but it easily has 30% more usable capacity than the knock-off's, and it also has a working temperature sensor that integrates with the Fuji fast charger. If I'm traveling and absolutely don't want to haul the OEM charger, I have successfully charged these using the Wasabi USB dual charger, it just takes longer, and I make sure to remove them as soon as the light turns green. ... show more

  • Expensive but Works
Us this in a Fuji X-t3. I tried an aftermarket battery that was supposed to be the 126"s" but the camera said it wasn't. (just a plain 126) It worked OK but it didn't last as long as an actual 126s. Shipped it back and bit the bullet for an official Fuji battery. The one I returned came from a famous auction site. The battery looked almost exactly like the Fuji and in fact was branded as Fuji. However, there is a notch in the actual 126s case that is a little longer than the 126 notch. (which I think is how the camera knows the difference) It appeared that the one I returned was actually a 126 that was marked as a 126s. (my understanding is the new version, 126s, was upgraded for better heat dissipation and therefor will last longer) My only complaint with the Fuji battery is the cost, so that's why I went with 4 stars. ... show more

  • Needed Another Battery
Bought this battery from Amazon to go with my new Fuji X-S10 camera in order to have a back up. This battery was $10 cheaper on Amazon compared to the price I would pay for in my local camera store. It is a genuine Fuji product so I have no complaints. I have not used the battery yet but, I did charge it in order to have a back up. If I have problems I will add to this report but, I believe it will satisfy my needs. ... show more
