It works really well. It protect my phone but after using for a year, backside got a big yellow circle, especially where I use wireless charging and heat dissipated during the phone use. Anyway it is cheap and good quality at that price. I bought the same cover again.

I have tried a few cases that were straight from Samsung cases: Samsung OEM Case issues: >>Clear version with stand, but back is hard plastic and scratches. >>Matching color silicone is nice, but you can't see actual phone and over the charger port it is not reenforced well so that edge could get damaged if it hit just in the right area, also expect case to tear then after a few months . >>Smart cover, has a window that is just a hole so won't protect phone screen from things in pocket or if dropped on gravel, plus I have to take it off when I get in car to put in in car holder. So I saw this Spigen case and have used this brand before. PROS: Nice tight fit. not so thick it makes phone a lot bigger. Sides protect the curved glass, that is not screen. (keeps edge of my screen protector from being exposed On my Samsung case I can catch screen protector edge with finger sometimes. So with this case I am less likely pulled up screen protector, but also when putting it on need to be careful to not catch screen protector) Even though clear, flash light does not bleed over to camera lens and mess up night images Has a little extra raised area to protect camera. Buttons are easy to feel difference on. Solid feedback. Holes all match up well No useless lanyard hole no one uses to mess up look. CONs: finger print magnet SOME IDIOT THOUGH ETCHING A AD ON THE END OF THE CASE WAS A GOOD IDEA!!! Seriously, Its not a sticker, its not paint I can rub off. Its etched into the plastic case FOREVER Telling me "AIR CUSHION TECHNOLOGY" WTF. I already bought the case. The S22U is as slippery as a frozen piece of butter. Squeeze your hands just right and it could fly across a room. This case solves that problem. Gives you a good grip on the phone. It does NO affect wireless charging. One thing that makes this stand out from the others is it as separate holes for three of the camera lenses and one slot for the one standard telephoto, focusing sensors and light and that prevents lint from adhering to the lens protrusions from the phone (a known problem does not affect the cameras or phone, but makes it look bad). Also, since the back is thicker than the lens protrusions, it offers good protection for the lenses if the phone is dropped. I will say, having used clear cases for years, in about six months the sides will start to yellow from my fingers and will yellow for you due to your fingers. However, with these covers are not expensive, so replacements are not a big hit. And if you don't mind or even note the yellowing, it does not affect the case. Someone posted that the case rocks, but appears they only viewed the case without the phone inside. I have this case and my case; WITH the phone inside does not rock on any surface regardless of screen being down or cameras being down. It is a very sturdy case. It does not offer as much protection as some of the heavy duty cases but it does offer some protection. Update 11/29. Sides do turn yellow, started to look bad a week or two ago. However, ordered the same case. The yellow problem is due to oil in the hands, unless I wear white gloves when touching the phone, these cases will turn yellowish over time. But it adds decent protection, looks better than others on the market (my opinion). And not overly expensive. ... show more

    • Messeses up fingerprint reader

When applied, the space for the fingerprint reader forms a very obvious bubble. Followed the instructions and made sure the phone surface was as clean and DRY as possible. Then adhered the protector using the front facing camera as a guide and pressed down from the fingerprint reader outwards. Used both screenprotectors provided in attempts to get it to adhere correctly and vigorously cleaned and dried the phone surface between attempts. Did not help. Setting that aside, even if you ignore the very visually distracting circle in the middle of your screen, the actual fingerprint reader no longer works. Attempted to rescan my finger with the screenprotector on so as to get a better reading and the fingerprint reader couldn't detect my finger to even scan. In short. Garbage. Do not buy. ... show more
