  • Overpriced but fast charging and nice looking
Style: NP-W235 Charger
Yep, it costs 50% more to get the Fuji logo on the front of any gadget and that's true for this charger as well. So if you can get past that you will really like this charger. If you get the right power block (see below) it's very fast and charges both batteries at once. Further, you can quickly tell what the current charge in you battery is by just plugging the battery into the charger. I like that it has a numerical percentage of charge listed for both batteries, some other chargers just give you 1, 2, 3 or 4 bars. Nice charger, reasonably small, sure to treat the batteries well (since it's Fujifilm brand, after all). Highly recommended. Some people have complained that it requires a special power block (wall-wart, transformer, power supply, whatever). That's definitely true if you want the batteries to charge quickly. The power block must be rated for at least 30W and must have a USB-C output port and it must support PD (power delivery). Sometimes the letters PD will be on the power block - if you don't see PD on the power block or the documentation then it's reasonable to assume that it will charge the Fuji batteries slowly. I have no idea if any Fuji power supply is both PD & 30W or not. It's fine to use a charger rated for anything more than 30W - 45W, 60W, 100W or even 240W. The PD protocol will ensure that the block and the charger negotiate to the correct levels. In theory, any USB-C to USB-C cable will work, as they are all supposed to be rated for 60W. Can't hurt to get a 100W cable which includes an e-marker chip that both sides use for verification. It's easy to get a 60W (or larger) charger and 100W cable that can be used to charge anything - these batteries, your laptop, your phone and/or just about anything else with a USB-C connector. That's what I travel with now so I never have to worry. ... show more

  • Really Cool Charger...
Style: NP-W235 Charger
Okay, so it's just a battery charger but it's a really nice one. I made the mistake of buying the GFX 100S from Adorama (will NEVER do that again) and they didn't have a charger so I turned to Amazon. While pricey, it displays charge progress as a percentage value and the screen is bright and easy to read. It seems to have some sort of overcharge protection but I can't swear to that. The fact that it's USB-C is helpful in rapid charging. It's no where near as fast as charging one's phone but it seems to get right along. It is sad that it doesn't come with the charging brick or USB-C cable but overall, a very nice product. ... show more

  • Works Great
Style: NP-W235 Charger
I have this charger and a wasabi charger and the Fujifilm charger does a better job. It should for the money and the fact that you have to supply your own USB-C cable. But, the batteries were filled to capacity in short time and I am very pleased with the purchase.

  • Great Chargers!
Style: NP-W235 Charger
Great alternative to charging the battery from the cameras! We are wedding photographers and don’t have enough time to charge the batteries this way. It doesn’t charge the batteries at the same time, it does charge them one at a time.

  • Good battery charger 👌🏼
Style: NP-W235 Charger
It does what it’s supposed to do. Bummer it’s that price and doesn’t come with a cable or a way to plug it into the wall.

  • It's actually worth the money.
Style: NP-W235 Charger
I know...I know most people prefer to buy the cheap chargers out there. I did...and returned it after a few days. This charger is solidly built, lets you know exactly where you stand as to the percentage charged on your batteries. It works perfectly every time. It kinda hurt to push the "buy it now" button, but I'm glad it did. ... show more

  • Only charges a single battery at a time without USB-C wall adapter, which is not included
Style: NP-W235 Charger
This charger and the extra Fuji W235 batteries came in before the XT4 I pre-ordered. In anticipation of the camera, I thought I might as well charge these so when the camera arrives, I would have fresh batteries to get started. I have to say, it has been a disappointing experience so far. The charger does not come with a wall adapter, which is a common enough thing these days so I can understand the manufacturer not including one. But it doesn't even come with a USB cord. That's a new level of cheap, especially for a $70 battery charger that you have to purchase if you want to charge batteries any other way than through the camera. Additionally, the charging experience on this is not good. I found a wall adapter (wall plug to USB-A) and a USB-A to USB-C cord, added two batteries, plugged it in, and it only charges a single battery at a time. Once one battery was fully charged, it would not start charging the second battery until the first battery was removed. So essentially when the charger is powered by a USB-A charger, it acts like a single battery charger that happens to hold two batteries. My hope is that this might be resolved with the official Fuji wall adapter and charging cable that come with the camera. I won't know until the camera arrives and I can test it. So far this is not something I would recommend, especially for the price. EDIT: With the factory USB-C wall adapter and cord that came with the Fuji X-T4, it does seem to charge two batteries simultaneously as you would expect. So as far as I can tell so far, it only works as a true dual battery charger if it's powered from a USB-C port. ... show more
