  • Good Battery Replacement
Style: YTX30L
So I bought this battery because it was the cheapest on the market at the time for only $62. It came in on time. The charge on the battery was at 80% so after a three hour trickle it was ready for install per the instruction manual. I installed the battery on my Polaris ATV and it started right up. Everyone knows Polaris ATVs motor take a darn Nuclear Reactor to start and after the ATV sitting for 4 months it started right up no issues. The battery dimensions were also on point it slipped right in as well. I weighed the batter on delivery and the package weighed in at 22 pounds the battery itself was 18.5 pounds. Don't get me wrong it was a handful to install due to it's weight but well worth it. I would buy this battery again. ... show more

  • Batteries should NOT be packed horizonatilly!!! grrrr.
Style: YTX20HL
Love this product. Been using and supporting this brand for several years now. Their batteries are excellent and preform exceptionally for the price point. Ok, so here comes the but... this battery was packed in the Amazon box sideways. For this I'd like to thank the dirtbag that packed the battery in the Amazon box because now I'm covered in battery acid. It's unpleasant to say the least. To anyone who has never been exposed to sulfuric acid, the take away is "don't let it happen to u". The manufacturer's box has a clear warning on it..."This Side UP". AGM batteries are for the most part enclosed they still MUST vent... which means they have holes.. So.. when a dirtbag! Boxes one side ways... it leaks.. That being said, these days it might have been a robot, in which case I blame the programmer. (grumble grumble.. ) Now, venting aside, I must ask the manufacturer, "Now that this battery has leaked and has less acid in it then it was designed to have, will it preform as it should?? or ??? --- still angry... signed Mr. Acid Burned grrrrr ... show more

  • Good Replacement
Style: YTX30L
Battery fit perfectly in my 1007 Street Glide. The recessed terminals did make it a little difficult to get the cables connected as there isn't much room to work in the "battery compartment" of my style of motorcycle. Once installed I was able to immediately fire my bike up and get back on the road. Battery would have been 5 stars but the difficulty of installing the cables to the recessed posts caused the loss of 1 star. ... show more

  • Packaging, label showing battery, and this side up is needed.
Style: YTX20HL
When battery was received, it was double boxed. The outside box only had a shipping label on it. No markings of a battery inside, this side up, nothing. When the box was opened, the box holding the battery was present. Upon taking the battery out, acid leakage was present. The battery was upside down when left at the house. This is a gel battery and no leakage should have occurred. ... show more

  • Easy replacement for my Honda motorcycle battery.
Style: YTX20L
This was listed as a direct replacement for my bike and it was. It took 5 minutes to swap in the new battery. It was fully charged and the bike started right up. In addition, the old battery wasn't an AGM design but this one is. So it's an overall better design. The price was excellent. Highly recommended if you're looking for a replacement. ... show more

  • Greta battery!
Style: YTX9
My husband bought this battery for his four wheeler and it was a perfect fit. So far, it’s a great quality one. It’s been durable and was super easy to install. So far it’s given us a long lasting battery life and we haven’t had any issues with it!

  • Very difficult to install
Style: YTX20L
Replacing batteries in a motorcycle is something I have to do every couple years. The bike does not get ridden frequently and I don't keep a battery tender on it as I don't have power where it is stored. This is my first time buying this brand. I had been using another brand that fit in the bike very well and was easy to install. My only concern was they did not seem to last very long so I wanted to try another brand. I saw good ratings on this battery and looking at the specs it seemed to be the correct fit for the bike. The actual publish measurements was actually 1/10 of an inch smaller than what I had been using. I received the battery and on inspection it looked very good. Well packed. I unpacked and put on a battery tender to bring it up to full charge. It stayed there for a week or two due to travel and other activities. A nice Saturday morning came and I wanted to get the bike out for a ride. I grabbed the battery and went to install in the bike, normally about a 5 minute activity. The first thing I encountered was it was actually larger than my last battery. I have a Harley and the battery box required the battery to be have very specific dimensions. This one is a bit too large and it was a tight fit to get it into the battery box. That turned out to be the least of the challenges on the install. Attaching the cables to the battery terminals involves inserting the supplied nuts into the terminal slots. The gap on the battery terminals where the nuts go in is so large that the nut would fall out or if I managed to keep it from falling out, the nut would get push to the back side of the slot and the terminal screw could not reach it. After about 20 mins trying to get them to stay in I knew I had to come up with another solution. It was obvious that I needed something that I could use as a shim to hold the nut toward the front of the terminal slot and prevent it from falling out when putting in the screw. After considering several materials I spotted a styrofoam cup. I grabbed some scissors and cut a strip out then folded it to fit tightly into the terminal slot. With that in place I inserted the nut which now is held tightly in place and at the front of the terminal slot. The styrofoam worked well because if easily formed around the nut to hold it in place. I should point out that I used the nuts from the previous battery because they were actually rectangular in shape as they should be and the supplied were hex nuts. Very poorly thought out. The battery is new and starts the bike well. I can't speak to the longevity of the battery because I have not had it long enough. I won't be purchasing this battery again regardless. The fitment problem and installation issues it's not worth it. ... show more
