This SmallRig charger is a great all-in-one solution for DJI action camera users. It’s designed to work seamlessly with Action 3, 4, 5 Pro, 6, and Osmo 360 batteries, so compatibility is not an issue. The three-slot charging is very convenient, letting you charge multiple batteries serially. Charging speeds are solid, especially with a higher wattage adapter, and it handles power distribution intelligently. Not sure I would call the built-in storage a stand out feature but it does work. It keeps up to three batteries and two TF cards organized in one compact case, which is perfect for travel or keeping your gear tidy. Also the TF card holder is just foam cut outs. It’s also lightweight and very orange, with added safety protections for peace of mind while charging. Be aware it only seems to charge serially, so takes over 4 hrs to charge 3 batteries. So instead of all 3 batteries being finished at the same time the first battery is completed in about 1.4 hours. Ready to use, then 2nd and so on. I am not sure if that’s a con or not. So I will not remove a star for that, however I will remove a star because it just feels like cheap plastic. I am sure it will last, but if you drop this with 3 batteries in it, I am not sure it will survive the impact. Also the TF card holder is just foam cut outs could be more secure. I’d like to see SmallRig improve the plastic in future revisions. Overall, a well-designed, portable charger that combines speed, storage, and convenience in one package.

I already own similar orange charging cases from SmallRig for GoPro and for Nikon and Sony mirrorless camera batteries, and I’ve had very good experiences with them, so I had high expectations for this one. I’ve been using it with my DJI Action 4 batteries, and it has worked out great for me so far. It has space to charge three batteries and the case itself is slim enough to fit easily into most camera bags. Even if you are not actively charging while out and about, it works really well as a safe and organized way to carry extra batteries. I also like the battery level display, particularly the ability to check without being connected to any power supply (lights up briefly when any battery is inserted). It shows the charge status in 25% increments with four lights for each battery slot. It’s not as fancy as chargers with an LCD screen, but it’s still very easy to check at a glance. The two TF card slots are another nice touch and make it even more useful for travel or longer shooting days. The whole case feels surprisingly light, yet it still feels solid and reasonably well made rather than cheap. Charging speeds have been good as long as you use a good USB charger (not included). It includes a very short USB-C to USB-C cable, which is nice to have, although I do wish it were a little longer. That’s a minor complaint since I already had longer cables to use with it. Overall, this is an excellent charger and storage case, and I would recommend it to anyone who uses multiple batteries for their DJI action camera adventures.

Wow, definitely a bright orange. It's a pretty basic charging case, but no batteries are included. Contents include the charger, a USB-C to USB-C charge only cable (very short), and a basic manual. The listing mentions that this unit will intelligently charge all 3 batteries based on voltage. This is good, as leaving a battery fully depleted is terrible for overall battery longevity. I do appreciate the ability to store two memory cards in the lid. This actually prompted me to check my other similar battery chargers, and saw that they too have this feature. The smallrig case has a soft touch silicone insert though (the black part that you can see). The lid is secured magnetically. Overall pretty nice. For value, you can get other, similar cases, which also come with batteries.

This a great, simply, three slot charger/storage case for Osmo Action 4/5/6 batteries. It charges the batteries sequentially, not all at once, starting with the most charged battery first. It's fast enough. You can open the lid and lights on the front will let you know the approxiamate charge state of the batteries, without plugging the charger in, which is a convenient way to check how charged your spare batteries are. It's lightweight, made of what seems to be a durable plasic, connects via USB-C. It also has a couple of memroy card slots at the top. The orange color may not be my favorite, but it sure is easy to see. If you are looking for a simple way to charge and store your Osmo Action batteries, and don't need any additional features, like doubling as a power bank or simutaneous charging, this is a great item.

This is a nice case that can hold three batteries and two micro SD cards. It uses a USB-C cable to charge the three batteries. I think this makes for a good battery holding case, but this charges only ONE battery at a time even when you have all three inside, and it is not even fast charging them. If you want a battery charger look somewhere else.
