First off I’m very indecisive and will look through tons of different options and read plenty of reviews before making a decision and I do not regret this one at all! This frame was very easy and quick to build, instructions are clear and came with everything you need. The frame is sturdy and does not squeak or shift even if our 3 children and ourselves are all on the bed. Our California king mattress is very thick and heavy and we have had no problems! We purchased the 18 inch frame so it is a little tall (for reference I’m 5’2 my mattress is 15 inches thick and frame is 18 inches tall the bed comes up to my stomach and I can easily get on the bed) but that’s what we wanted so we can store lots of stuff underneath with no problem. This is just a simple bedframe, nothing special, though you can attach a headboard later on. But I got it for the durability. My husband and I are both bigger people, so much so that we usually always had to put the mattress on the floor for spicy sleep, for fear of breaking slats, wooden or metal ones. We've had both where it's broken on us. Well, we got this one and decided might as well try it out, and if it doesn't work we'll start the hunt for a new one. This one didn't creak, move, or even give a hint that it had trouble holding us up. Absolutely beast of a bed, it can hold the weight and makes no noise. If you've tried countless other bedframes from Amazon only to find they break easily this one is for you. And the best thing is this is cheaper than the last two frames we've bought recently and so much better quality. Worth the buy, everytime! First, there is a lot of room underneath, so this is great to open storage space in a small home. This is a really good product. It is as described. I assembled it by myself pretty easily. The little plastic doohickeys that are supposed to hold the mattress in place are plastic; they are not very strong. However, they are still a nice added feature. I really like that the manufacturer included some spare parts: an extra screw and an extra rubber foot for the legs. Most products at this price do not necessarily extend that curtesy. I needed a bed frame that would work with a vintage wood head board. I will still need a bracket since the head board legs are wider but I love the bed frame. It was easy to put together and is very sturdy. I don’t need the box springs for the king bed. And it doesn’t move at all when bumping into it or kids jumping.
