I picked this mat specifically for the Bluetooth feature and am so pleased that it works great! We had no trouble hooking it up to play the songs on my phone. I love that we don't have to listen to the same handful of songs over and over as the Bluetooth gives the kids endless options! I did find that the volume is pretty low on the mat's speakers. There were a few of us talking in the room and the kids were laughing and running around so you couldn't always hear the music very well. Still, the kids can step on the lights and not worry about the sound, which is fun, too! This dance mat is a great way to get your kids to burn off some energy! It is especially helpful when they are cooped up inside during winter storms. The mat is easy to fold up and store. We kept the box it came in and store it in there. I was disappointed that this mat didn't come with a plug as you burn through batteries pretty quickly. I would recommend using rechargeable batteries, if possible. The mat is targeted towards kids, but I didn't have any trouble playing on it. The designs on the mat are pretty close together so adults just need to step closer together while little ones will need to jump around to hit them. There are few modes on the mat and I wish there were more! It is also easy to accidentally change the mat to a different language, which is pretty hilarious. We found it easier to turn the mat off and then on again to change the mode or the language, but, other than that, it is pretty easy to use. My main complaint with this mat is the price point. It is pretty expensive for a children's toy and I wish it was more in the $40 range.

Absolutely loved this product for the younger kids. It was nice to have something that didn't require a TV or console hook-up, and it keeps them busy for a couple of hours. Extra plus is the cardio. Especially during the winter! Is it going to last forever? Nah, but it'll work until they're bored of it. A great little treat to help kids play without you.

Overall: I liked this mat for some family fun. It was a great gift for the kids. Pros: It was fully functional. It was easy enough for the kids to understand and get going. I've had kids as young as 3 yrs playing and they could enjoy the game easily. The Bluetooth mode works. After you play a round, it automatically skips to the next track for you, which is a nice feature. The mat seems durable and has taken every kick, tackle, and body-slam we've thrown at it without any issues. Cons: My biggest complaint is that the maximum volume is weak. Basically, with excited kids, it can be a bit tough to hear the music. There is no way to output the signal to another device, so that limits your ability other than the mat speakers. So it didn't much feel like a dance party with limited sound output. It uses traditional batteries (not a plug in device) so that's a bit of a drawback.

This is like a cross between Twister and Simon. Only with dancing. The kids enjoy it, but in my opinion it's way too expensive. It's easy to set up and put away.

My 4 year old and 2 year old love this mat! It’s very easy to setup and easy to connect to your phone via Bluetooth. I love that you can choose your own music to play. Cons are that my children often step on the Bluetooth and Mode buttons (by accident) which interrupts the game (need to start over). The language selection at power on is also a bit confusing (you have to select the 1 number on the mat to put the game in English and my children often hit the other numbers and put the game in other languages – you need to power cycle to fix this). It's really colorful and it helps them burn off extra energy.

I would totally recommend this as a gift to younger kids. But I wouldn't recommend it to anyone older than 10ish. My older kids got bored of it within 30 minutes but my younger kids enjoy anything that lights up, lol. Price point is a little high -- I have a similar dance pad that was about $50 and has all the same features.

The media could not be loaded. This dancing mat is pretty cool. It comes with some reusable, kind of sticky pads to help keep it in place. I definitely recommend using those or the mat gets bunched up. The mat is very responsive and lights up nice and brightly. It is a decent size - Plenty big enough for children and most adults (if you have really big feet it may be more difficult). For reference, my photo has a four year-old and a one year old on it. I can also play on it, no problem. It has several modes. The dance mode only has three levels, I wish it had more. It’s fairly easy. Other levels include freestyle, freestyle drums, and memory repeat back. Currently, the price is around $70. I do feel that that is a bit much for this toy. I would prefer to see it around the $40-$50 mark. It does have Bluetooth (but that is probably a feature I won’t use). All in all, this is a great active play, energy burning toy if you can get it at the right price. I would have given it five stars if the price was better.
