Finally found the comforter for me

I've been looking and have bought several others, to replace the one my mother bought me 25 years ago. I'm a 61 year old lady going thru menopause and if you're there, you understand. The hot flashes at night are the worse!! I needed to find something I could sleep comfortable with, not add extra heat. I keep my room at 61°, nice and cool, this comforter is perfect. I bought the lightweight, after taking it out of the package I gave it a good fluffing and it puffed up after letting it rest a couple of hours. It was oder free also. It's made of cotton with down feathers inside. It's so soft on my skin and it feels so cool, but keeps me warm. I love it!! I bought the king size in the taupe color and it fit nicely on my bed. It can be used in a duvet and has 8 connectors or whatever you call em, but I like it just as it is. I've had it about 3 months and I've washed it twice at laundry mat in large washer and dried it on low and it fluffed right back up. It's not too thick and not too thin, for me it's just right. This will be my year around comforter. I also liked that y'all had it available in a selection of colors. I need to get another one for guest room.

Comfortable, but measures short

I bought this as a gift for someone who opened it recently (a few months after my purchase). The quality is excellent, and it’s very comfortable! However, the packaging was labeled queen, but the comforter only measures 81“ x 87“, not 90“ x 90“ as stated.

Ordered a king blanket, it’s the perfect thickness for hot Texas weather, light, just enough warmth but not hot. Also if you put it in the cold dryer cycle for 30 minutes it fluff's up perfect. No smells ready to use. I liked it so much ordered 2 more in different sizes for presents. I can highly recommend this product, if you’re looking for a light cover. Kind of playing with the idea maybe for a warmer one later in the year.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: We ordered king size in the color khaki to have an oversized look on our queen bed. I have a tendency to steal the blankets and sizing up prevents that 100%. My boyfriend and I were looking for a lightweight comforter because we both sleep hot, (especially me — 8 months pregnant in the end of June), and after reading many reviews & looking over customer images, we took a chance on this blanket. BEST CHANCE I’VE EVER TAKEN! It comes vacuum sealed so, yes, it is flat when you initially unbox it. I think a lot of people didn’t read the description/instructions… after 3 days it fluffed up and is cloud-like perfection. Also note that we got the LIGHTWEIGHT blanket, so it’s not as thick as the “all season” one. But that is exactly what we wanted! My ONLY critique is that dry cleaning is recommended, but that’s why we got a cover. That way we can regularly wash the cover and keep the down comforter in top notch condition. 10/10 recommend…we are considering buying the all season one for winter time since we are in the PNW.

Comforter Not as Listed

The item I received is not what was described in the listing. The listing for this Snowman down comforter says 75% down and 25% feathers; but the tag on the comforter I received says 50% duck down and 50% duck feathers. The listing also says it is baffle box construction, but this item is only simple sewn-through box construction. The listing said it was lightweight, but I didn't expect it to be this thin - even after puffing up for a few days. I guess 14-ounce fill weight isn't very thick. Also, as noted elsewhere, what is referred to as "cotton blend" is only 18% cotton. I'm giving 2 stars because the khaki color is nice; the size is nice; and the comforter is soft. However, I'll probably be returning this for something that truly has more down than feathers, true baffle box construction and a higher fill weight.
