I’m driving a Dodge Ram 1500 with a 5.7-foot short bed. I’ve been on the lookout for a bed cover that’s both water-resistant and won’t break the bank, especially since it rains here more often than not, and I frequently haul surfboards over to the coast. After sifting through plenty of options, I decided to try this hard tri-fold tonneau cover. First off, the installation was easier than I expected. I managed to get it done solo in roughly 25 minutes. The instructions were a bit generic, but if you’re even a little handy, you can figure it out by laying out the parts and taking a good look. Water resistance was my biggest concern. After driving through rainy stretches around the Willamette Valley and even running it through an automatic car wash, the bed stayed dry except for a slight dampness near the tailgate. That said, I’ve seen some reviews mention leaking around the fold seams. From my experience, if you tighten the clamps well during installation, it makes a noticeable difference. I’d recommend testing it with a hose after installing to spot and patch any leaks early. In terms of build and materials, it feels like good value for the price. The panels are sturdy, and the finish looks clean, no obvious flaws on my unit. I’ve taken it on highway drives too, mostly I-5 between Portland and Eugene at around 75 mph. The cover stays put without noticeable flapping or noise. For security, the clamp-on locks are simple but effective. Paired with the factory tailgate lock, it’s enough to deter casual theft. This cover is a solid choice if you want something affordable, easy to install, and generally water-resistant.

I wanted a cover then would fold up all the way but yet be secure. I found this one and it had a great price point. It was pretty easy to install and fit very well. I wanted something that would not be easy to break into as well as waterproof. This one meet my requirements and it has been well tested now. I went on a long trip with my son and we hit a lot of rain and dust. This cover kept the contents in back clean and dry. Staying in hotels is always concerning so I installed a motion sensor alarm with a remote on my bed cover along with the trucks alarm. I love that it can fold up all the way so I have the full 5.5' of truck bed if I need it. It seems very sturdy on top as well. The latch is a nice design as you can pull the strap on either side to unlock it once the tailgate is open. It does not come with any lighting but, in my case, that's okay as I have bed lighting in my truck. I was also able to mount a folding step ladder and the cover doesn't not interfere with it. I guess if I had to find one thing that's less than great, it would be the release straps. If you close the bedcover after the tailgate, you have to make sure the straps aren't sticking out so somebody can pull them and open the top. Overall, I give this Tonneau Cover, 2 thumbs up.

We just received this Tonu cover and after a year of reading reviews and deciding to NOT ORDER a Tonu cover -- well finally there is a GREAT ONE = SKEXI. We couldn't find a product on the market that met our 5 simple criteria (high quality/super sturdy, waterproof, locking, easy to use, easy to assemble). We HIGHLY recommend this cover and we actually never write reviews but we are so happy and pleased with this purchase. So for those of you out there looking still....it's time to make the purchase and we recommend you buy this cover because: 1) It goes together in 10 minutes with NO TOOLs. 2) Super high quality materials (machined aluminum), 3) water proof -- we already tested it in a big storm in the Pacific Northwest, 4) Locks and really nice fit with out F-150 Tailgate automatic close. Additionally it looks great.

This is a very well made truck topper. With two people, installation was easy and completed in 30 minutes. The 5.5ft topper fitment was spot on with my 2024 F150 4x4 Fx Super Crew Cab truck. The topper actually installed over a previous installed plastic bed liner with no problems. I like that I did not have to drill anything, and everything needed to install was included. Keeps bed dry and cleaner. Makes no extra vibration or noise when traveling. Did I mention it not only looks great with the carbon gray truck and saved me lots of money over getting one installed at dealer! There was an included light if needed, however I have not used or installed the light. I like having the added security and protection when traveling too that this truck bed cover offers. Looks like it came this way from the factory=5+stars!
