It is best to have your door speakers sealed against the door enclosure and this adapter does not allow for that. They are not shown on the Amazon product images but there are several gaps around the ring that prevent completely isolating the rear of the speaker from the front. Not a huge deal if you either don't care about this or if you have some sort of material you can pack in and fill the gaps. The gaps do allow for speaker wire to easily be ran through the adapter into the speaker cavity but personally I would rather have the ring solid and drill a hole for the wire. ... show more

Purchased for my '13 WRX and although the hole location is correct, the shape is not. Made it work though. Also, the screws that came with it are junk - why not send screws long enough to fit through the speaker and spacer. Speakers are flat instead of facing driver/passenger, does reduce sound quality a bit. ... show more
