The unit works well so far, replacing a 12K BTU Danby that appears to have lost coolant as it stopped getting cold enough. This unit seems to do a better job of cooling my apartment. I estimate 700 sq ft. Installation was fairly easy, but it is heavy for a one man lift due to the larger size. The Remote Control is a nice touch. I don't need-use wifi. Today the humidity is 84% outside, so I set it to the "Dry" setting and at 70 degrees. I did note when in the Dry setting, there is only one fan speed, it's non-adjustable which would be like the number 2 lower fan setting. Not as high of an air flow. There are two dislikes I have though. One is that there is no provision for the lighted display to remain lit. It goes dark after a number of seconds after making any adjustments. There should've been this option to choose auto dimming or not. The other is, is that the lit display appears very fuzzy, sort of odd with a quite matte window for indicator lamps, never expected that either, or seen that with any other AC Unit. I at first thought there was maybe a protective film over the display that needed to be peeled off, but nope. Overall it's doing it's job and feel somewhat assured that even if it hits triple digits, it will be up to the task. ... show more

Do precise measuring for sure. Bit compact but cools nicely, a little noisier than advertised but acceptable. Weight is lighter and that's a big deal handling it by yourself installed!!!

We received the unit & not by our UPS driver but prior to his getting unit/the box has a dent. The box also appears to have been wet at one time. Upon taking the unit out of the box, the foam as broken on the side the box showed damage. As you look at the front of unit it’s on the lower left side has a dent & smashed along the bottom of unit .
