This new electric cooktop holds temperature very accurately, which is why we were replacing our old one. Also, the oversized burner is great for extra large pans. the rapid boil function really getting things moving very quickly. Overall, this is a great cooktop for the price.

So far, so good. Installation was super easy. Love the giant burner in the middle! Only drawback is that it takes a little while for my pans to heat up. I turn it up to 6-7 and it still takes several minutes to get to temp. But definitely worth the money.

36" cooktop replaced 22-year-old unit. Love the controls -- nice and bright. User friendly. Seems like it does not clean as well as our old Amana unit but probably expecting too much. The reason for not giving it 5 stars is that the box assembly to the top was terrible. Screw heads were too small or else the bracket slots were too big. See attached photo. Fortunately, the instructions reminded to check for tightness. Wow, of the 11 screws -- most as a pending problem -- we replaced 7 (or 8) with a better shoulder type screw before installing unit. This was exactly what we wanted. Pretty easy to install; had to adjust the metal flex cable to it was pointing to the right side for a better fit; but no issue. One of the Thinnest on the market; top to bottom! And we bought some 1/4" weather stripping to put under the edge; between the glass surface and the quartz countertop; the previous cooktop had one, as did all the display models in the stores. Cooks great! Heats Super Fast! The 5 Burners are Great; perfect sized. The Largest being in the middle is ideal for our suspended exhaust fan. Cleans easily, even the knobs. Love It! ... show more
