I looked over many refrigerators before selecting this one. One of the things I was looking for was a refrigerator that could hold many gallons of milk. I was amazed that NONE of the refrigerators I looked at showed a gallon of milk (or gallon of anything, for that matter) on an interior shelf. This made it difficult to select. I chose this one because it seemed to show a gallon of milk on the door. I reasoned that even if the interior wouldn't allow it, the door would. I am pleased to say that this refrigerator easily holds 4 gallons of milk on an interior shelf. I am also very pleased at the freezer's ability to keep ice cream frozen.     • Nice unit...but beware if you fiddle with the door hardware.
*I did not purchase this item via Amazon, but through The Home Depot. Wanted to leave a product review anyway. Great looking unit. Ran into problem when swapping the door hardware to open the opposite direction from standard. A mixed bag of fine-thread phillips and star drive fasteners and poor access/drive angles led to a couple of screws becoming stripped of threads when reassembling. Very frustrating. Proceed with caution or, better still, leave the door opening direction as-is. Other than those troubles, the unit is very sleek and nice. Price is great compared to the limited options offered in this size (more options if you don’t want stainless). ... show more

ice maker recommended for FFHT1425VV fridge has 4 pin design but fridge connection is 3 pin.. for me this purchased fridge is useless. Do not know how to deal with Frigidaire corp. spent good money for a useless refer. really pissed.

Update: We too received much earlier than what they estimated. Delivery guys were wonderful and they brought all the way into the house which I wasn't expecting. We had this same model fridge on our motorhome that we just sold. I loved this fridge so we just bought another to put in home! Yes the door is a hassle to change but it's all well worth it. This fridge saved us a bunch in power on the motorhome and I know it will in the house as well---replacing a 30 year old Whirlpool! ... show more
