We live in the middle of nowhere so I figured I would ultimately be disappointed but I could not find anything else I liked. While the box had some holes and the tracking revealed the freezer had gone on quite the journey, I was extremely pleased to find it was without even a scratch. I love the rugged exterior, which should keep it free from most scratching. The exterior is not any thinker than a standard fridge so it is likely just as susceptible to dents and dings. Payed the full prize for this Frigidare chest freezer because I trust the brand and unfortunately arrived with structural damage both inside and outside. I wish I had a better experience since I liked and really needed the freezer, but when I pay full price for something that is "New" I expect to receive what I payed for, it doesn'tmatter if it works, don't charge "brand new" prices for something damaged. Slight marring on the top near the opening, cord is short. Able to move up a flight of stairs and position by myself. I'm 6' 220 lbs, medium build. I couldn't put it in the garage because the dog is there and she sheds like crazy even with regular brushing.
