Some reviews said did not get cold. Mine does get cold. Could be colder but I knew most of the minis do not get ice cold. I keep beer in there and it is cold. I would prefer it colder, but for what I paid I love it.

I was so happy with my previous purchase of the smallest Frigidaire cooler that I decided to get a second one by upgrading to the next size up. I have not had the same luck with this slightly larger version that I did with the smaller fridge. The three issues that I have had are as follows: 1. The cord becomes unplugged very easily. 2. The fridge tends to get very wet inside. 3. It isn't quite cold enough. As such, I now use the fridge as an ornament rather than a functional device. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Packaging clearly says "Cools 20-28 degrees F below rooms ambient temperature depending upon environment." Hope you don't mind porch-pirates, thieves, and neighbors knowing what you ordered - because this ships in the manufacturers flimsy little box, evidently. If it was my brand, I'd be having a chat with Amazon about the representation and protection of my brand, after seeing they don't even have the decency to put it in an exterior box for protection. Not sure how much I expected out of this thing, but it was a bit more than it was able to put out, clearly. My room sits at a pretty constant 79-81 degrees, being on the second floor of an 80s home. The lowest temperature I've seen this thing get down to was high 40s - mid 50s, but usually if it's full i'm getting mid 60s temps. I expected something more around mid 40s at best performance. For the price of $45 it's okay. It looks good and doesn't make a ton of noise, but it's still noticeable. The exterior box had a ton of spelling mistakes and made me question the authenticity of the product. Unit only has a 180-day warranty period with the manufacturer, and you foot the bill for return shipping. With that added cost, unless you're pinching pennies, you might as well just buy a new unit, and save yourself the hassle... The unit has a working latch on the door (plastic) and a nice in-set foam sealer for the door. The latch on the door is bi-directional and can be pressed up or down to open the door. There's a nice see-thru piece of plastic in the door, and the viewing angle puts the bottom of the glass at the tops of the bottom row of cans. The plastic tray that divides the fridge does not sit squarely inside the fridge, and has a common issue where it wobbles side-to-side and also gives difficulty when trying to install it. It will fall down if you are pushing it in flat along one side rail. This style of fridge (non-freon / fan-only cooling) has a major issue with them that there is a lot of condensation build-up on the floor of the fridge when in operation, and you have to clean it out daily in order to mitigate any chances of mold or mildew build-up on your items. Power cable has no grounding pin, so if that's a requirement for safety where you live, better look elsewhere. ... show more
