This item was delivered with multiple dents and scratches. It seems to be working fine so far but for a full price item some of the dents are very significant.

    • Perfect
It's quiet and looks great. It got down to temp so quickly. It was bigger than I expected as I thought my mom's was a 7cu. And for the price I absolutely love it.

Very big but one corner got dented in shipping. The corner protector was broke in half and allowed it to get crunched. So sad perfect in every other way.

I ordered this deep freezer in March, And I am reviewing it in August. I have had it roughly 5 months. The product came damaged in box. However, the damage was visible to the exterior and didn’t appear to have impacted the seal of the freezer or other places initially. After 5 months I can say there are 2 things that are an issue, The compressor doesn’t work well, the damage from the shipping/delivery may be the cause. The second may be a link to a compressor issue as well, but it defeats the purpose of having a deep freezer: If you fill the freezer above a certain height, it does not freeze the food product solid as it does with product at the bottom. In order for the compressor to kick on after the door is open properly I have to slam the door closed and place my body weight on the top door. Otherwise, the compressor doesn’t not turn on and the freezer also doesn’t seal. Ask me how I figured that out.. the hard way: $1000+ in wasted food. All in all, I’m sure if it wasn’t damaged on arrival it could be a better product. I’m just not sure if these issues are related or not but I have to assume it is. I selected 2 stars because when it works my food below the line stays frozen. I bought the size of cubic feet to USE the cubic feet not to pack it below a line for frozen food. I also expected better shipping and handling care so the product arrived in good proper working order. ... show more
