I purchased this AC at the beginning of summer and it does cool my room down tremendously. The noise level is pretty high in my opionion but that is subjective to the person. When you initally turn it on, the room doesn't get cold immediately but it gets the job done. Overall, I am happy with it.

The unit seems very powerful. It’s the 6k BTU unit and cools my small bedroom within minutes. My room is 9.5’x10’x9’. I probably could have ordered the 5k unit, but I liked the digital dials. My issue is with shipping. The unit came packaged in a regular appliance cardboard with styrofoam and with regular delivery this would have been fine. (I buy appliances for projects all the time and the deliveries from appliance stores are good). The fedex delivery is not the delivery for this item. It’s too heavy and if dropped, it will be damaged. The corner of the unit was damaged and bent and the unit wasn’t working at first (the fan), until I poked it with a pencil. The fan was stuck due to misshape of the steel frame. And what’s worse the power cord has a damage of the plastic isolation, with the metal wire showing. I applied electrical tape, but it’s such a shame. The unit is not quiet, but what can you expect for $200. As long as it cools down the air, it’s all I expect it to do. The unit is good, the delivery was bad.

I had a 5,000 btu that I had purchased the previous. month but it was not big enough to due to how hot the small room I was trying to cool gets. This unit is quiet and has a remote with lots of options that the other one did not. Best was the price was right because it was during Prime Days sale so it cost just $10.00 more than the other one. Well spent extra $10 that is for sure.

I was surprised how cold is my room got after turning on this Frigidaire air conditioner it's very attractive looking it's emits very cold air maybe I'm just not used to it but I'm very happy with it it's very easy to use instructions on mounting and put them in your window and using the remote control very simple I recommend this product!!

I have it in the master bedroom that is alot bigger than the room size it's made for. The room is 25' by 25' and it on the 2nd floor. The room gets nice and cold!!!

I purchased this item. Only because it looked like it would work. And also because of Amazons great return policy. However! My Review on the Window AC is: Doesn't cool good at all, and barley even feel anything at all on this AC Window Unit. I tried it upstairs in my office and I ended up plugging in my old window unit instead again. So I didn't want to give up on this AC Unit so I placed in a small bedroom and still didn't cool room. Trust me it was a small bedroom for my granddaughter to have in her room. Still didn't work. So I ended up giving it away to my sister. I placed a return process and was approved. However I went to post office to mail and it was to much to send it back. Which is why I just gave it away. So this it my thoughts Good luck if you order one. Personally I would have this if it was even given to me.

I bought this to air condition my horses stall because she has asthma and breathing problems we live in Central Florida. I run it 24 hours a day with her stall door open. The rest of the stall is enclosed and it keeps her stall cool and she can go in and out as she needs to. Because it’s outside in a barn I do have to rinse the filters every other day. When it’s super hot she stands in front of the air conditioner and she can breathe easier
