This is the dog bed you've been looking for- you can stop scrolling and adding to your cart here. We have a 10 year old very large ( 145 lb) black lab who has NEVER used a dog bed his entire doggie life. Im writing this review after a year of owning so i can give a fair and honest opinion of this item. We had spent so much money on beds throughout the years only to have them chewed up, unused, just tossed in the trash. Was so hesitant to drop a good amount on yet another bed but our dog is starting to have some hip issues and can no longer make it up on the couch or beds for some relief from our hardwood floors. I set out to buy something that resembled a couch since that has always been his favorite spot. I wish I would have purchased this a long time ago it has been the only bed he has ever even taken interest in using. The bed itself comes with an entirely removable soft almost like a microsuede cover ( bonus this material is what I would like to say is " water resistant") zippered upper half ( around the upper edge) and lower half ( the base of the bed) makes this so easy to take off and throw the wash & its just as easy to put back on. We usually wash once a month, more if necessary and this holds up in the wash beautifully. Theres a long waterproof covered stuffed insert for the top half -not entirely sure what the inner stuffing is but it has yet to lose its shape, it doesn't feel quite like the memory foam pad on the bottom but it is a heavier material. The bottom pad insert of the bed also in a silk like waterproof cover is a thick id say probably at least 3 inch great quality memory foam it does not flatten even with our oversized doggie on it. the bottom of the bed has a no slip grip cover on it but you wont need to worry about this thing sliding around, its heavy and stays put. This is a sturdy quality bed made to last. OUR DOG LOVES IT ( and the cats I might mention) quality product here built to last, I'm sure this bed will outlast our dog and the best part is it really does help with joint pain, such a difference in getting up and down when he sleeps on his bed.

I bought the size Large in gray for my 80lb leggy Labrador Retriever. I debated back and forth about whether to get this size or the XL, since Labs can fall into either category. I'm here to show the Large was a perfect choice for my dog, who has plenty of space to curl up in it. If your similarly sized dog prefers to stretch out, or is maybe a senior dog and doesn't curl up as much, you might consider the XL. But for us, this offers plenty of room. His last bed was more expensive and the quality doesn't compare (it was one of those egg crate foam sheets covered in fuzzy polyester). The filler on this is a dense brick of thick orthopedic foam that is supportive and soft. Thoughtfully included is a silky zipper pillow case that protects the foam and makes stuffing it into the bed a breaze. The bed itself is made of a thick suede that does catch a lot of dog hair but vacuums easily. The zippers are enclosed in a thick piece of material, hopefully to prevent a mouthy dog from finding it. I have seen a lot of these bolster beds and they either lack central cusion or the bolsters break down and the whole bed loses its structure...I don't anticipate that being an issue with this bed for a long time. I haven't washed it yet but unless he has an accident, I don't see why spot cleaning won't work for a while. I don't recommend this for chewy puppies or dogs still getting house trained...you will want to save this for when they will "appreciate" it. I'm really happy with the quality of this bed and the price point for a size large. Having bigger dogs makes everything more expensive, so I'm happy to have found something that works this well at such a good price. My dog approves!

My English lab loved this bed from the moment it arrived. I had purchased a large bed at Walmart and in just a few months it was completely done in. This bed is very high quality, sturdy and easy to clean. I love that the cover comes off to wash. I had search for dog beds and this bed came up as the number 1 bed out of 10 beds for dogs and I can see why. This bed was easy to put together. The memory foam is holding up very well. The cover stays clean, and I vacuum the bed at least once a week. I am very well pleased with this purchase, and I highly recommend this bed. For size reference, my dog is 75 pounds.

I can't get my dogs off the bed ever since I put it on the ground, but my new Collie puppy had an accident on it and I had a little bit of an issue getting the cover off and on to wash it. My aging Lab with medical issues adores it, though. I've noticed him getting up a bit easier in the mornings now, which is great to see. Now that my Collie is trained, I don't have any more problems.

I bought 2 of these beds (2 years ago) in large and they fit my two 70-75lb Golden Retrievers well. They’re happy with the bed so I’m giving these 4 stars for the price, and dog happiness. BUT- one of the covers ripped at the seams within the first 6 months. My girls are not chewers or bed-wreckers, so that was disappointing (and probably warrants a 2-star rating…but again, happy dogs). So I dealt. Another year has gone by and the tear has only gotten bigger. They DON’T offer replacement covers. Grr. So if you find yourself needing one- “PetFusion Replacement Cover for Ultimate Dog Lounge, Large“ was a near perfect fit. When I buy another dog bed I’ll probably go with PetFusion.

Very easy to assemble, sturdy and made of good quality construction. I purchased this dog bed for my 35 lb., Jindo mixed breed. I wanted him to be able to stretch out completly on his bed. This was definately big enough for that but it was actually a bit too big. I returned this for a smaller bed from a different brand.
