This bike is a beast. Assembly was straightforward, although I wish I'd had another person to help. The controls and electronics are user friendly, so I jumped right on and headed for a local hike-bike trail via a state highway. Acceleration was smooth and the pedal assist was wonderful. On the first ride I went through all five PAS levels and, since I had read how to deactivate the 20 mph governor, I cruised along like the wind at more than 30 mph. I rode ten miles within an hour of taking the bike out of the box and couldn't have been more pleased. When I got home the battery indicator still read "full," but I charged both batteries anyway. Since that first day I have ridden up and down a mountain several times and I am amazed at the power and speed this thing possesses. Highly recommend the Alaska Pro M-520. Not a hint of a problem yet; the bike has been pure joy.

Great bike and Good customer service. It will get up to 35-38 miles an hour on the highest pedal assist with minimal pedaling effort. Itโs ideal for commuting in traffic where the speed limit is 35. You will be able to keep up with the flow of traffic. High quality construction and equipment. The only downside for me was that at about 180 miles my motor stopped working. But after contacting customer service and showing them the error code, they sent me a new on in the mail! It was easy to install the new motor core. Itโs very comfortable and fun to ride around town. You can feel the power of the motor, it accelerates quickly! The mileage per charge is fairly accurate with pedal assist.

This is a really nice and solid eBike. Deffinitely an upgrade over my last e-Bike. The lower battery has an on and off switch and even switchable with the Rocky-Pro that I got brother who rides his bike every day. Which is good Though I would advise you to upgrade the basic tires with some heavy duty ones with some liners and self-sealing innertubes, and carry the tool kit with me, because the last thing that you want is to breakdown a few miles away or more even with something as simple as a flat tire and not being able to handle it on your own. You also might want to add some reflectors for front and back, since those lights aren't reflective, and you want to be seen at night. I've had this one for maybe 6 months now and the only issues that I really have that aren't problems with other e-bikes (like battery range) is the back rack: specifically where it's connection points with the rear fork. The other is that I'm not getting the same level of workout with this as with my last e-Bike. At just about 100 lbs, having the motor on is almost essentual. Say if i'd like to go about 12-15 mph, I gotta ride with it on at 2, which means little to no resistance for my legs. My rides back home tend to mostly be on a slight upclimb, so for the same speed, I often am ridding on a 3, which generally around 18 mph. So no rewarding causal workouts for me. What they need is more speed levels, before it hits the regulatory speed wall of 20 mph (ex Walk=2or3, 1=4, 2=8, 3=12, 4=16, 5=20), with maybe 3 or so levels above that (ex 6=24, 7=28, 8=32, 9=36) if you areas that you feel are safe enough to ride over the limit, for a more customizable workout if you like to pedal.

Horlan from Freesky E-Bike customer service is second to none, he promptly responds and addressed are questions and concerns. We bought two bikes green and blue. These are solid well-built bikes and assembly was easy. These bikes are powerful, we live in very hilly terrain and was amazed these bikes had no problem carrying my 215 lbs up steep inclines. Like I said these bikes are solid a little on the heavy side at close to 100 lb. I'm 6 ft tall and my wife is 5'10 and we are both comfortable handling the height of these bikes.

Love this bike. I actually bought it to do deliveries, and it works quite well for this. The bike is sturdy, well built, and fast, and the dual in frame batteries provide enough power to last about 3-4 hours on each charge at pedal assist 4, which is plenty fast enough to cruise at 25mph or so. The ride is much smoother than other ebikes I've tried. I mostly ride it on the street, but there have been times where I've ended up on trails, and the suspension does a very good job of handling the bumps. I've put almost 4000 miles on the bike already, and everything has held up great. The only thing I will say as a caveat with this bike is that it does have a high frame. I'm 5'11", and sometimes it can be a little bit of a stretch to get my leg over the top. But that is the only thing I've been able to see thus far that could be a problem for some people. Freesky has other bikes that have lower frames, so it's not really a problem, just something to consider with this particular model. Since I'm using it for deliveries, I needed to order a couple extra batteries. The customer service and communication from freesky was terrific. They got me one battery almost right away, and the other is on its way from China. I'll update when it arrives, but they have been great every step of the way so far. Overall, great bike, great company. Highly recommended.
