So, proof to this review. I just bought it last week and put it to the test this past Saturday. My stepson had a TYFA championship playoff game this past Saturday here in Texas. It was 56° and a steady heavy drizzle or light rain. I was part of the chain gang holding the down marker so I could it use an umbrella. This jacket held up to its descriptions. It eventually got soaked, but I literally stayed dry and warm. I ordered a large. I am 5'7" and at about 198lbs. A bit over weight, and it's a but loose on me. But it's definitely comfortable. I love the pit zips because as I started to sweat, I was able to unzip my pits just a bit for better ventilation and no more sweating and I was still warm. The hood is great in both ways. I love the extended bill, it kept the rain off my face and glasses. And when thrown back, it sits flat, not all puffed out like most jackets. No, here are my downsides. It has plenty of pockets, I wish it had at least one internal pocket. But my phone and smokes stayed dry in the rib pockets 100%. Second downside. Since my jacket is a bit too big for me, the bicep pockets are a bit difficult to zip back up. I have to hold the cuff with my fingers to keep it tight and pull the zipper up. But that's not a defect in the product, just an issue with the size I ordered, so keep that on mind. 3rd issue, there were no instructions on how to roll the hood up and stow away. I had to watch the video for the product a view times to see how they are folding it. But once folded, it's a nice tick fleece lined collar. All in all great product, there is a video on YouTube where a guy has owned his for years and loves it. I definitely recommend. I'm going to order another one, but without the hook and loop patches for my wife. She loves mine as well.

I own 4 of these jackets and even bought my 71 year old mother one in 2020!!! I have two black jackets for work at a sawmill and a black and grey jacket for non work wear!!! I like the jacket because it is waterproof, windproof, has a huge hood that keeps the rain and wind off your head, the underarm pit zippers allow you to vent out heat but still stay dry. The enormous back pocket allows me to store my watch cap and gloves when not needed!!! The two front pockets are located different from what you are used to, they are large/deep slash type zippered pockets located between your chest and abdomen. The pockets will feel funny at first but you will soon realize that the location of the pockets keep you from loosing any ability to bend over or get in and out of your vehicle because you have stuff in pockets that cause it to bunch up at your waste. The polyester material the jacket is made of is very durable and lined with fleece which makes it much warmer than it looks or feels because it is weatherproof. I have retired my collection of other work and casual jackets to the back of my closet because these are my go to jackets for late fall, winter and spring!!! Everywhere I go people ask me about my jacket and I always let them feel it and try it on to see how it feels in. I send them the Amazon link almost all of the time!!! I can say only this, the jacket is AWESOME!!!! All my coworkers, friends, boss and customers have atleast one jacket now!!! I can promise you that you will not be disappointed with this jacket. Oh wait a second, I almost forgot that the jacket is easy to wash. Just put it in the washer on cold water and add your favorite detergent on the regular wash cycle then throw it in the dryer for 20 to 30 minutes, Done!!!

Great fit (4XL), nice dark blue color, soft lining, lots of pockets on sleeves and front hand-warmers - but but no interior pockets. I'm 6'1" with long arms, so the sleeves are a little short, but workable. Double-pull zipper, adjustments for bottom hem and hood front (but not back). Multiple options for rolling and securing hood. No loop in collar to hang from. Haven't water-tested it yet.

Very well made. Tight fabric, rain repellent and keeps warmth in. The pockets on the side can be used to warm your hands or store items that you need to get to quickly. This is a good value.

It kept me warm and dry while fishing in 40-50 degree weather standing in icy cold water. The length of the coat provides full coverable below the waist without being too low to get in the way.
