I am a 36D bra size & I had to loosen the back a lot to fit it. It did loosen up enough to fit but my back skin was exposed all night. Overall Very beautiful & high quality costume for the cost & fast shipping. I would purchase again!

I absolutely love this skirt/corset combo. I wanted something that I could wear on my cruise when we port in Nassau. I wanted to look like badA** steampunky pirate and with my accessories its beyond amazing. Just know(for me anyway) trying to find a size was an absolute nightmare. I ended up getting the 6X and thats not even close to the size I normally wear. I am a 3X max. I wasnt expecting no stretch at all when it comes to this corset. All my corset have some kind of extra room by the fact that they stretch. THERE IS NONE IN THIS CORSET. After loosening the ties in the back enough that I could actually button the corset it fit great. The only problem is, while I am very well endowed up top I am not enough to fill the top of the 6X corset. However after finally finding one that actually fit, I'm not complaining. By tightening it up at the top some more, with help, I was able to make it work. It's super cute. Super comfortable. I have no complaints about the skirt at all. The buttons on the corset are a little annoying to try and close but again, not something that completely turned me away. So if you're a bigger women just take into account that you will need way more then just uping it one size. The corset has no stretch or extra give at all. And the buttons are a little tedious to close up the corset.

I bought this for a music fair, I know I shouldn't have waited till the last minute, I ordered this so that it would arrive the day before I left. In retrospection, not the smartest thing I ever did. I was pretty confident it would fit, because I'm 6'/230 and I wear an 18, so a 4XL should more than be big enough? Right? Wrong. The skirt fit no problem because it has an elastic waist. It was a bit short, but I'm used to that... all clothes are too short on me, but the top/bustier was 6-8" from being able to close so I thought, no problem, just open the laces some. Ummm, no. Bummer. Back it goes. I think for me, the 6X would be the right size, but this size structure bears no resemblance to actual off-the-rack sizing. You're supposed to flatter your customer, not make them order a size that normally would be right for My 600-lb Life contestants. Get real.

I have a suggestion for this listing for the seller/manufacturer: MEASURE THE GARMENTS AND CREATE A SIZE CHART THAT REFLECTS THE ACTUAL SIZES YOU ARE SELLING. My experience: My normal clothing size usually ranges between a S and M, I am a 34B bra size, 30" waist, 35" hips, 120 lbs. It was impossible to discern what size I should really order here, so I went with the majority of users who said SIZE UP 2-3 sizes, which I did, I ordered an XL, and and XXL. Result: The XL skirt was too small in the waist, the corset too big. The XXL skirt was ok, size-wise, but the corset was HUMONGOUS (probably a 16-18 at least). Proportionately, this ensemble isn't right, because the top part is too oversized vs the skirt. So, unless you are really busty up top and teeny tiny in the waist, I don't realistically see how this would fit anyone. Maybe you can buy the two pieces separately in other listings and somehow get a good fit by ordering two different sizes? In my opinion, that would be the ONLY way to make this work, unless the manufacturer goes back to the drawing board and resizes this collection.

I bought this to dress up for a murder mystery dinner, and the whole outfit turned out fantastic! This dress really was the perfect thing! I do wish the skirt had just a tiny bit more fabric around the waistband, kind of like a yoga band. Because it is in two pieces, I didn't like the look when I had skin show between the top and bottom (it ruined the illusion of being a dress). Overall, the top is extremely flattering, and it wasn't a super thin material like I was worried it would be for the price. It has good structure. The bottom is pretty, with a lace overlay on top of a satin under skirt. The ruffles give it some fullness, but it isn't bulky or heavy. The skirt had a zipper and it had an elastic waistband, and it sat well on my hips. It is super cute! Wish I had another occasion to wear it to!

When I ordered this, Amazon kept saying that based on some reviews a large would fit me best and a XL would be to big. Most of the time, it is right but this time it wasn't for the corset top but correct for the skirt as i am a odd size and the skirt is stretchy with a zipper on the back. But I didn't let that stop me. Instead of returning for another size, I just went out and got ribbon to expand it a bit and got a bodysuit to tuck in my stomach some. I got this to be the main piece of my costume this year as a steampunk looking vampire (a pun for my work since I work at night and I sleep all day). The product didn't smell bad, it was comfortable to wear for a few hours (definitely not a long-time wear outfit), easy to put on when you have the back of the corset tied right and it didn't break on me at all even with it tied really tight. Made for a perfect costume in the end and I can reuse it as I see fit so I get more use out of it other than those cheap ones you get from costume stores. Highly recommend this product!

The corset is so cute. Definitely need to size up though! I had to return my first purchase for a larger size. The skirt is uncomfortable and so scratchy hence the 4 stars but I decided I just won’t wear it. The skirt was also very short in the front to the point of almost flashing people. The corset is good quality though!
