This allows for heavy people to get good use out of it. The nylon is thick, bulky, and sturdy. In other words, it's made well and not from cheap plastic. I bought an awesome chair with a cup holder. The only problem was it had a circle base that was stationary. It's hard to take off any base, but once you do, this product is very easy to put on and it supports the char very well.
