  • She loves the product
Color: Blue/Black
I have a 1yr old Australian Shepherd, she absolutely loves this product. She can load it herself. If we take a break, she'll lay beside it and whimpers until we turn it back on. I absolutely recommend this item

  • Disappointing product
Color: Green/Black
Received the ball launcher today. The balls shoot about 20 - 25 feet at most with power turned to max, the feet adjusted to the tallest point, and a brand new out of the package tennis ball. Not to mention, it is very loud. It startled my dogs. The alert sound does not work at all. Kind of disappointed after spending $100 plus. This is another fine Chinese product. ... show more

  • Fun but Could Use Some Improvements
Color: Green/Black
The Franklin Pet Supply Ready Set Fetch Automatic Tennis Ball Launcher is a fun and interactive way to play fetch with your dog, especially if you’re looking to give them some independent playtime. However, the launcher could use some improvements in terms of consistency and noise level. It’s a great toy for shorter play sessions but may not hold up for longer durations or more intense use. If you’re okay with occasional issues and are looking for a convenient fetch toy, this could be a good option, but it’s not perfect. ... show more

  • Easy throw!
Color: Blue/Black
My little dog loves fetching and mostly chasing the tennis balls. This is the second Franklin ball thrower he has gone through the first one. These ball throwers saved my arms, as our little jack russell terrier loves chasing balls. He could go till he passed out if you let him but throwing a bucket full each time is more than enough for me. He does 60 balls twice a day and would do more if we let him. Franklin is a great brand and I am sure has great durability if you do not have a Jack Russell that loves to chase the balls. I set this up in the living room with a clear shot to the back door and shoot the balls so he can chase. The size of the machine is great and easy to move and lift. The hard part is cleaning the machine, the ball fur gets into the gears and I am convinced that is what caused the first one to stop working but it lasted 3 years with everyday use twice a day. My dog loves it. ... show more

  • Great exercise for indoor dogs!
Color: Blue/Black
Our 100lb Lab absolutely loves this! He is learning how to put the spikey balls in the hole and then we say back, back and he steps back. All this is done with cheese when he drops to ball in the hole.We watched a young tube video on how to train for this.We heard about problems with the tennis balls so we just got the orange spikey balls and they are better for slobber . The ball thrower seems safe and durable. It is set to low and we use it in the house! It is great exercise for our dog.. wears him out! So far after using this a few times there are no issues. I would love to see a cleaning video for this launcher because it’s not cheap and I want to keep it running. My dogs happiness depends on it! ... show more

  • Might be ok for a small dog indoors
Color: Blue/Black
The media could not be loaded. I have an Australian Shepherd that doesn't mess around when it comes to playing fetch. I had a Go Dog Go launcher that worked very well for a couple years but eventually broke down and tried this as a cheaper replacement. As stated in other reviews, the first throw was somewhat far, and ever throw after that got shorter until it was barely throwing 10 feet on max power. My dog also prefers the heavier Chuck It balls and they are way too heavy for this launcher never throwing more than a few feet. The plastic "all weather" ball that comes with this is thrown VERY far and is probably what they use to advertise how good this launcher can throw but my dog won't use it because of the texture. My dog deformed the provided tennis ball very quickly. Returning this and will try another more expensive version of the spinning wheel thrower before I just go back to the Go Dog Go catapult style launcher my dog knows and loves. The bad part of those types is it's such and sudden shock to the plastic parts that it wears out quickly with heavy use. And my dog demands his fetch time on the regular. This machine might be fine for a small dog using light balls indoors where you can put it on low power and not expect much. It might be worth $100 for that person. ... show more

  • Obsessed
Color: Blue/Black
Our pup is obsessed with this!! We play it twice a day for about 20 minutes at time or we go outside to play. Chasing and retrieving is life for our doodle. I found that when using tennis balls they get wet and don’t go as far so we have about 40 tennis balls and use each ball twice before moving on to the next one. The other thing is that many have stated it quit working after a bit. That happened to us. After two a day play time for two weeks ours started to get loud and slow down, to the point that the balls shooting out would bounce out about 2-3 feet away. Then it just stopped working. So I was going to throw it away and buy a new one. Like I said our dogs obsessed. Once I saw again how much I paid for it, I was not about to do that. So my son in law took it apart and found the two motors had collected all this dark hard melted plastic (tennis ball fuzz) and some un-melted tennis ball fluff that had been collected from all the tennis balls. Which explained the EXTRA long fuzz on the actual tennis balls as well. Had to use pliers and tweezers to get it out, wiped it clean, put it back together and it works like new. We are now using smooth plastic, rubber or foam like tennis balls and let me tell you no issues but they fly even further and we just need to wipe them down with a towel after each use or they don’t go far. ... show more
