My granddaughter wears a size 3 to 3 1/2 so I ordered a size 4 and they fit her perfectly. She loves the fact that they are like a sneaker. They come in many colors so I was able to order her favorite color aqua blue which she was thrilled about. So far so good with the skates.

I tried a long time to figure out which roller skates to get my 7 year old for her first ones. The candy-girl skates seem great but are a bit too expensive for something she'll grow out of. They only make one "adjustable" skate with the pineapple design but they were out of those when I went to buy. These are pretty sturdy, but most of all they are comfortable for a wider/high volume foot. I chose the size 4 even though my kid wears a 3 in shoes, because you can cinch them down with the laces and the canvas fabric is not as rigid as leather or fake suede. It's true these might not last as long as a $100 pair, but for $50 if I need to get a new pair in 2 years that's less painful. As far as a successful gift: my kid got them 1 week ago and she wears them all day long even around the house and to the dinner table!!! Maybe the most liked gift ever. ... show more

Very pretty, but sizing is an issue. Ordered up a size & skates are extremely too tight and caused her toes to hurt. Returning for even larger size.

I was not sure on the size but I got my daughter a size 5 she normally wears a 4. I am glad I did they fit perfectly and she still has a little room in them if her feet grow more.
