    • Not what I expected

I purchased to of these for the bedroom. They came to me damaged. The curved bar that holds the bulb in one of the lamps was disconnected and would not stay firmly in the hole. Two of the other curved bars were bent and I had to flex them back into place. The harp that holds the shade is made from cheap shiny brass and that really takes away from the look of the lamp. For the money I paid I would have expected no hassles and better quality. They look ok from across the room but up close is different story. The manufacturer has a card attached that states, "The classic hand forged craftsmanship of artisans lives on...."Featuring hand crafted, hand hammered details...." B.S. These have no hammering and they are not hand forged by craftsman. Buyer beware of the propaganda. They look just ok but they are over priced for something made in China on a machine. ... show more
