This pair of lamps fits perfectly with our home decor. We have a staircase nearby with similar metal spindles, which was the driving factor choosing this lamp set over others. They're the perfect height coming up just to the bottom of our photos. I like the shades as they both give contrast with the wall behind but blend in as well. I use Phillips Hue bulbs with no issues with these lamps. My biggest gripe was when assembling the lamps, I had to screw the corded light socket into the base. The cord inside the base seemed to be twisting, providing resistance as I tried to tighten down the screw. I bet the cord inside is all twisted, but it doesn't seem to be an operational issue. A tiny nit-pic, the box/packaging was on the cheaper side with very "crumbly" styrofoam. Little white bits were strewn about as I unboxed the units. I would have liked to see more sustainable packaging with recyclable/paper materials. All in all, a great set of lamps. Very happy with our purchase. ... show more

The only drawback is that they are so light weight! Very attractive and just the right color! Easy to assemble as well..the shades go well and look like quality material though they aren’t. I’m glad the electric cords are dark and don’t stand out against the wood floor. Overall I’m happy with them for what we paid! A bargain for sure. ... show more
