The filter I received is exactly what I needed. But the filter was just put in a bubble bag. This particular filter has no metal housing to protect it in shipping. The filter fits in side a canister on the van. Part of the box was damaged in shipment. The filter is still usable but would have been nice if it would have been put in a box since the filter is mostly paper or some find of fiber. ... show more

Crappy filter...very flimsy feeling very sloppy glue job on the media into the end caps. Glue was even smeared on the filter media its self and a sloppy job with glueing the seam together. So don't fall for the reviews on this filter I wouldn't put it in a lawnmower much less my car. After seeing this filter I done some research and purchased a Purolatorboss oil filter now that is a nice filter high end quailty great build job very clean glue job on the caps and the media looks and feels sturdy. been using for years, i dont go more than 7 or 8k miles though on a change of oil on my 2017 chrysler 300S AWD, no issues, filters dont fall apart

After 4000 miles it seemed just as ready to begin tearing or squishing as other filters. I don't recommend leaving it in for extended mileage.
