This saw blade makes very smooth cuts both in soft and hardwoods and plywood. It is better than I expected and I recommend this blade!

Used for the first time last night in my 14 Amp 7-1/4" corded Ryobi to make ~12 finishing cuts on a small project. The blade installed easily and was easy to use. I've never used a finishing blade before so I don't have anything to compare it to except FoxBC's 40-tooth counterpart, but I can say there's an obvious difference in feel between that blade and this one. I used to make square and beveled cuts on softwood and 2x3's and 2x4's, and the results came out as expected. No tearing or chipping, and no indication it'll slow down any time soon. On the whole I'm glad to have picked this blade up. I wasn't expecting to see much difference between the 40 and 60 tooth blades, was relieved to see it was worth the effort of swapping the blades out for finishing cuts. This blade looks to be about 20% cheaper than its big-box store counterpart, too -- not sure which would win in a longevity fight but definitely worth the discount to have one of these handy in a pinch. ... show more

Review: FOXBC 7-1/4" Circular Saw Blade 60-Tooth Replacement for Freud Diablo D0760A D0760X, DeWalt DWA171460 This blade has a 5/8-inch arbor which is the most commonly used size for a 7 1/4-inch blade. I have another 60 TPI FOXBC circular saw blade that I have used for quite a while. I've been cutting some veneer with it. I've also used it on birch plywood and on some dense specialty woods, which I discuss below. It has lasted longer than I thought it would, but it was time for me to replace the blade. I chose another FOXBC blade since I've had nothing but great results with the first one. These FOXBC blades are made of High-Density Tungsten Carbide for a long life. This blade, at least the one I've used, is tough as nails and makes such clean beautiful cuts. It's a thin kerf blade and leaves no burrs or chips throughout the cut. I've even used it for cross cutting some exotic hard woods. This isn't the best TPI for this use, but it did its job just fine. With this new blade however, I will stick to the intended use for the blade. At this price, these are nice on my budget but cut like more expensive blades. ... show more

I have never used a blade with more than 24T before. The extra teeth make a huge difference! You will want to cut slower but will be extremely happy with the edge when you are done. It is very clean and smooth. The packaging is nice for storage if you have kids or just don't want an easily exposed edge. I'll probably use this blade when I want a great edge and a blade with less teeth for when it doesn't matter. This blade is more expensive than I am used to but worth it for the edge. ... show more
