Brightens up my old forest green chair. Easy to clean because I have 3 big dogs. Does not hold dog hair like the old fabric. Nice pocket and place for recliner handle. Takes a bit to find places to wrap the 4 elastic loops around to hold the back of the chair cover snug and the back of the seat cover. Must push the elastic loops through the back corners of the seat cover to the back where I unsnapped the old fabric cover and used the snap to hold the loops. The bottom of the back cover elastic loops are held in place by the springs under the chair. It takes a bit of manipulating, but it is nice. I do wish there were also elastic loops for the two corners of the front piece to run through to hold down the piece that slips into the place where the seat and back connect. It appears this area is going to be prone to slipping up. I keep pushing it down. I have a sewing machine and may have to attach elastic or straps to these areas myself. That is the only compromised area and a quick manufacturing adjustment could help this. Plus please use a higher quality of elastic or even an adjustable strap. I'd be willing to pay more for this as I do not have a lot of confidence in the longevity of the elastic loops. I still find the product quite nice and the fabric fascinating. Thank you.

"Leather" recliners these days are made with cheap faux leather that peels. This appears to be exactly the same thing. A thin, leather-type material glued to a stretchy cloth backing just like the original upholstery on the recliner. However, for the price, it is a satisfactory temporary fix so you don't have to have the recliner reupholstered or purchase a new one. I smells HORRIBLE when you take it out of the box. I had to put it out on the front porch for a day and let it air out. It is very stretchy just like the description. It stretches to a smooth, shiny appearance. It is not that hard to put on. One person can put it on, however you do have to turn the chair on it's side to get the arms fully covered. It is like a fitted sheet basically. Elastic all around the bottom edge. If you don't have a recliner that the foot release is down near the bottom of the chair on the right side then it is awkward. It is made for those chairs that have a pull-back wooden lever. Not a release that is more toward the top of the arm of the chair. We'll see how this lasts. If you don't attach the straps on the seat part, it will go BOING on you. It's all stretched very tightly when you get done. This is NOT designed for oversized chairs. This is for a standard sized, low-back chair.

Completely covered my oversized bonded leather rocker recliner that was peeling on the seatback and arms. Material is stretchy but durable - pull and tug as needed to get it on your chair without worrying about tearing. This PU fabric is more luxurious than the bonded leather - feels like butter soft leather. I'm going to purchase another for an old torn vinyl recliner that I was going to throw out. A note about installation. No instructions are included, but there are instructions on the Amazon page (not completely clear) and YouTube. 1. Push your recliner lever and extend it all the way out. 2. Pull and tug seat piece (marked with a tag) onto foot rest all the way back across chair seat. You're going to have to use some force, but don't worry - the fabric is not going to tear. 3. There are elastic straps on each side of fabric. Push the fabric and straps inside the chair where the chair seat and the chair seatback meet. 4. Tilt the chair forward so that the underside is visible (I used a card table chair as a prop). Reach through the bottom of the chair to grab the fabric straps on each side and secure the seat cover by wrapping the straps around the chair's metal springs that are visible on the underside of the chair. 5. Push the seatback fabric over the top of the seatback and all the way down to the seat. 6. Push the straps on each end of the seatback fabric down into the couch in the corners. 7. Reach through the bottom of the couch and grab the elastic straps. Secure the seatback by wrapping the straps around the couch springs. 8. Pull and tug on the left and right arm covers until they fit. Sit down and enjoy your new old recliner!
