This lamp is the perfect addition to any space and is beautiful. This light comes in a few attached pieces you just have to screw together. The only part you really have to piece together is the shade which is 2 rings and the shade with a Velcro strip you have to line up correctly. The light itself is very slim and doesn’t really give the room a lot of light. It’s a nice ambient corner light but doesn’t exactly light up the room. I suppose that could depend on different bulbs but what we had did not, while they did in other lamps. The shade is thicker material and doesn’t let out as much light as the old school fabric shades. It doesn’t come with a bulb so I’m not sure what the review that says it does. Maybe it used to but it doesn’t now and they do state that. The base is small and could be knocked over fairly easy if it’s in the way at all. It does have a step switch on the ground which is nice but otherwise it’s a pretty simple lamp. Decent materials and build but I’m not sure about the price. Seems pretty basic at a fancy price. It’s a nice lamp and I’m glad we got it as it will work nicely I’m just not sure you will feel you got your moneys worth unless it’s on sale.

The Fovaa floor lamp was easy to assemble, sturdy, space saving, functional and bright. You will have to attach the shade to the wire frame by attaching it to little snaps on the shade and use the velcro ends to fasten it. The parts to the lamp are screwed together in sections leading to the base. The only thing I had an issue with is a bulb was not included. The lamp uses a 60 watt bulb.

Set up was pretty easy and didn't take long. You will need to supply your own 60 watt bulb. The base is pretty darn solid but because this is such a skinny lamp, it is a bit tippy on carpeting. On hard flooring it would be steadiier. So be sure you set it somewhere out of the way of people bsteadier. I like the foot on/off switch but wish it had a regular one as well. The placement of the lamp in my living room does not really make the foot switch convenient. It offers pretty nice lighting considering the shape of the lampshade abd brightness of the bulb. I think having two on either end of a loveseat, buffet table, bed, etc would look nice but I really wouldn't depend on them for enough lighting for an entire room. I'm not sure it's worth the current price to be honest. I feel like this could be gotten at a big box retail store for less but overall a nice lamp.

I needed a tall thin lamp to fit in a tight spot behind some furniture and this lamp fit the bill perfectly. It was easy to assemble by screwing the rods together, the wire was already strung through the light. The shade comes as a flat sheet you roll up and Velcro together and the ends matched up perfectly and you barely notice the seem. I added a WiFi capable bulb to the lamp so I can control it remotely without having to use the in-line switch every time and it’s been great to use so far.

This is a slender and barely noticeable floor lamp. The vertical stand's diameter is only 9/16", and it stands 67" tall (which is a little shorter than my other floor lamps). Even the lampshade is a slim 5 1/4" in diameter. But it looks nice, and some will see the minimalism as elegant. A foot-operated floor switch operates the light. That means you cannot operate it with a wall-mounted switch unless you cut the power cord, remove the floor switch, and reattach the cord's wires. It takes one standard light bulb, so you somewhat control the lamp's brightness. One drawback: IMHO the base is too small and weighted insufficiently. With a 7" diameter, it will be adequate until it is bumped by a person or pet. My other floor lamps have at least 9" bases and are weighted more heavily.

There are other lamps on Amazon that look similar and have bulbs that do millions of colors and so then come w/the extra baggage of a remote and an app to control all that. This lamp, on the other hand, has no remote nor app, and comes with an LED bulb that simply does white, no colors. It has 4 levels of white: 1) dim (color maybe that of #4) 2) blue (6500k) 3) warm (3000k) 4) between warm and blue My photo shows the bulb. The only way to control this light is via the footswitch. To step through the 4 levels, after the light is on, do a double tap (about 1 second apart). Sometimes it ignores the double tap, and so then just try again. Sometimes, it will blink a few times immediately after stepping to the next level, for no apparent reason. Nowhere in the paperwork nor the product page are the 4 levels and double-tap switching described. Afer you tap to turn off the light, and wait at least several moments before another tap, then it will return to the most recent light level you had, as expected. So if you are happy with always having the exact same light level every time you turn on the lamp, then all is easy and fine. But if you want it sometimes dim, sometimes bright, then each time you switch, you'll have to double-tap your way through the levels. I tested swapping in a normal household (E26) bulb, and that worked fine, so then the footswitch simply becomes an on-off switch. The lamp itself is attractive, stable, and was easy to assemble. I have another brand that looks identical (but has a color bulb) where I struggled to connect each of its poles together, but this lamp went together easily. These lamps simply look good anywhere I place them.
