I have had this watch since January, so its been about 7 months now. I wear it 24/7 and only remove it to shower or swim. However, I wash dishes daily while wearing it, and also assist my 7 year old with washing her hair while wearing it and it has been thoroughly SOAKED on almost a daily basis as well as cleaning and life in general.. It still functions and looks as good as it did the day I bought it. Still keeps excellent time, and there is absolutely no fraying of the leather. The only signs of wear that I can see is, the spot that lays directly under the face has worn, the leather of the band has of course softened and molded itself to my wrist, and the original shiny, polished look of the metal has dulled a bit over time. When this watch does eventually crap out on me, I would not hesitate to buy this brand and model again. It is a great watch, perfect for those who prefer a smaller face and have small wrists. The watch itself looks and feels great on my wrist. The face is easy to read, even in the sun. I really like that it has a thin band but a big face. Usually I have to sacrifice readability for something that looks and feels proportional to my wrist and hand size, but no sacrifice here. I bought the peach colored one, and the face is definitely peach and not pink. I’d never seen a watch quite like that. I’d like to get the one that’s dark gray with the gold metal too. I’ve only had it a short time, so I can’t say whether it’s durable. We’ll see! I gave it four stars because the package was dented and had clearly been through some trauma before arriving. The cute little Fossil tin was dented and open, and the watch was actually just loose in the package. The watch looked fine, but it didn’t inspire confidence. Not the watch’s fault! ... show more
