Was my 3rd Everett Platform watch and I've since ordered my 4th. Like the style and they seem to be well made. I really don't know about the water resistance...I wouldn't go swimming with the watch that's for sure. Also good price point although I did get a discount. Some buyers complained about not being able to read the digital readings. Yes, it is dark, but like several other digital (some high end) watches have the same design. The dark face gives the watch a clean and very nice look. If you want a bright digital read out, buy a Casio, Timex, etc.. This watch has a nice feel and works well for me. This is a very handsome timepiece. Hefty but not heavy with a simple, classic face that is easy to read. I like but don't love the two-tone style (honestly I thought I would like it more).
