Description

Finally enjoy a peaceful rest with this standard queen sized foam mattress that measures 6x59x79 inches. Our durable, flexible mattress provides all the support and comfort needed for a good night’s rest, while being lightweight and firm. Made with 3 pounds of high density foam, this Fortnight mattress, has a firm feel that is not too hard and not too soft! For your safety, our foam is always made in the US and is CertiPur-US certified, so it contains no PBDEs, TDCPP or TCEP ("Tris") flame retardants, ozone depleters, mercury, formaldehyde, lead and heavy metals. Why Foam?: Foam mattresses are known for their supportive construction. Being firmer than a traditional mattress, they are suitable for those who suffer from back pain and other related issues. A soft mattress will provide no support and can make you feel uncomfortable. If you’re looking to avoid the “sunk in” feeling of a memory foam mattress, the compact construction of this foam mattress will bounce back after applying pressure. Before Ordering: Accurate measurements of your bed frame are vital to ensure your new mattress fits precisely. The firm structure of our high- density foam mattresses are perfect for those with a heavier build. We recommend that those who have a heavier build purchase a 4 inch or thicker mattress to ensure the most restful and comfortable sleep is achievable. Setup: Mattress comes conveniently right to your door in a box! They are compressed and rolled in a box so it’s easy to transport and set up. After your mattress arrives, simply remove it from the box and remove the plastic, being careful not to cut into the mattress. Allow 24-48 hours for your new mattress to decompress and return to its original plush shape.

  • Not what is advertised
Color: 6 Inch Size: Twin
I wish I could score this item lower than 1 star! In the advertisement on Amazon it shows a tan covered mattress with white piping on either side. It is described as having a "durable" fabric cover. What I received was a crepe paper covered, gray mattress with ugly black seaming along one side (see pictures). I contacted the seller to see if there was a mistake. They said they can't guarantee what is shipped is the same as what is advertised and that I could send the mattress back. I'd rather get the mattress that is pictured, but I'm told they can't do that. This seems like a classic bait-and-switch scam to me. They are advertising a nice mattress and sending out garbage hoping most people will just accept the low quality item they are actually sending. Very unethical, and I am extremely dissatisifed with their response. Apparently, they do not have any mattresses that actually look like what they are advertising to replace this low-quality item they sent me! ... show more

  • Very Comfortable!
We bought these 30" 5" versions for our campgrounds camping cabins, but end up stealing them when we go camping because they are so comfortable to sleep on. Was impressed how much they compress in a roll to load in the car. Be aware they do need mattress covers as these are fabric covered. We put two of them together inside a double mattress protector and sleep together nicely. The walls are 90 degrees to they fit together great. Highly recommend! ... show more

  • better than i expected
Color: 6 Inch Size: COT30
ive had to unfortunately (no fault of the mattress) rely on this mattress for many nights in a row, and probably many more to come, but im pleased to say that it is pretty comfortable. i am 6 feet, about 225 pounds, and i do not sink to the bottom of the pad. i wrap a flat sheet around the mattress and use a normal blanket, and usually sleep about as well as i would on my normal (much more expensive) bed. im planning to order another one of these for my wife as we assemble a camping vehicle, because i think it's probably going to be the best sleep we could get in the wilderness on a mountain side. its a tad pricey for just being a brick of foam, but i cant complain about how i feel when i wake up in the morning, so im giving it a solid review over all. ... show more

  • Best RV mattress ever!
I was hesitant at first to buy this mattress for my RV but based on reviews I gave it a shot. I am really glad I did. It's the best mattress ever for an RV. I did put a mattress topper over it to extend the life of it and now I want to sleep in my RV all the time instead of my regular bed. I highly recommend it without any reservations! ... show more

  • Alright mattress, but with 170lb I feel the bottom of bed even under 6" of foam!
Color: 6 Inch Size: COT30
I bought this cot for my RV van which had a 27" wide dinette cushion to sleep on. I made an extension with some wood, supported by a bracket, to make it the width this mattress is. When I slept on this mattress, I felt like a baby! Now, of course, this isn't a $1000 mattress. Instead I am comparing it to a 20+ year old foamy bench seat and of course it's a big upgrade. I am about 170lb and even though this mattress is 6", I could feel the bottom of my bed! I actually opened the cover and cut off a litle piece because this mattress was too long for my van. The foam I saw was just one layer of medium density foam, if I remember right, and nothing special at all. It was very easy to cut with a bread knife. I don't sleep often in my RV, so when I do, this mattress is great. But I wouldn't want to let my guests in my house sleep on this... Well, maybe my mother in law, so she would quickly decide to leave again.... It's fine for a few days for an adult. A child that weighs less would probably fare better with it. It was an okay buy, I suppose, for occasional use in a space that needed a custom mattress. ... show more

  • Excellent mattress... if you sleep on your back
Color: 6 Inch Size: COT30
First off, a few details. I'm male, 5'10", about 195lbs. I'm using this mattress directly on a carpeted floor (remodeling the house, longterm project, custom-built bed frame will come later). I am using this mattress every night for sleep, not as an occasional sleeper/guest bed. I learned quickly that results with this mattress will vary. I am a stomach sleeper. I always have been. When I first slept on this mattress on my stomach, I found that my upper torso and my legs were comfortably supported, yet for some reason my waist sank right into the mattress, making for an uncomfortable arch in my spine. The discomfort was subtle, and after a short four hours of being able to sleep, I awoke with substantial discomfort in the small of my back. However, if I lay on my back on this mattress, I am perfectly supported. In fact, if I were a back sleeper, this mattress would be just about perfect. Seeing how trying to return this mattress would have been a nightmare, I decided to keep on using it anyway. It's better than the 2" memory foam futon mattress I've been sleeping on! After about a week, I discovered that the mattress started breaking in some. Sleeping on my stomach, I still get some discomfort in my spine upon waking up, but it's nowhere near as bad as it was originally. I've been trying to convince myself to sleep on my back more, but I tend to roll over onto my stomach while I sleep. So. I can't fault the mattress for being what it is. It is adequately described as medium-firm foam. In order to get a higher quality mattress that would support me, I would probably have to go back to a spring-type mattress or something. But this will work for now. And if it breaks in better over time, I'll try to update my review to let people know. Other observations: It's 72" long. If you count the extra fabric used to sew the seams, it is right about 74". But the foam is only 72". The packaging was simple, no paperwork inside. The bed arrived rolled up tight in plastic and it expanded to full dimensions in about 30 minutes. If I just sit up on the mattress, my bottom sinks right through it, but there's enough springiness to it that although my tailbone touches the floor, most of my weight is offset so there's no pressure on my tailbone. This mattress does have some level of memory, as I stated above. It's 'breaking in' and becoming more comfortable for me to sleep on. But I can see no evidence of it becoming permanently misshapen, and I do sit on this mattress for a few hours every day in the same spot, not just sleep on it. The fabric around the mattress is soft enough that I'd be able to sleep on it directly, but I use a sheet just to keep it from getting stained up. Overall, I'd say the quality is good. Well worth the price for what it is. And as I said above, if I were a back sleeper instead of a stomach sleeper, this mattress would be just about perfect. ... show more
