Our trusty crusty 15 year old pepper mill has been on its last legs and I’ve been looking at these electric mills for awhile but just couldn’t hit “buy”. Firstly because I could already hear the snarky “are you THAT lazy” comments and secondly, while pretty, all the previous versions just didn’t complement our more traditional home and kitchen. I ordered this new version with the wood finish, received it today and immediately filled and tried it out and couldn’t be happier! Yes, I am that lazy BUT now my teenage daughters think I finally made a COOL choice! I love how I can adjust how course I want it. Probably the best thing which I didn’t even expect was the fact that the grinder is on top, not on the bottom like my old manual pepper mill. This means no more mess on my kitchen counters after using it! What a plus!! FYI, no one gave this to me to get a review and I’m clearly no influencer paid to do this. :)

Salt does come out plenty and fast. But once you get used to it will be fine. My pepper shaker doesn't seem to grind peppercorns good and they are pretty large in size. There could be a way to change grinding size I don't know about though.

I ordered the two black grinders and still received a white and black set. They take six triple A batteries which seems a little excessive to me personally. I love the ability to turn it over and it starts grinding. It’s easy to set up and use.
