My old faucet was spraying water every which way, I think I got more water on me and the floor than in the sink! It was mostly due to mineral build up.. I took it apart and cleaned it all out but it just has too much inside it where I can't get it out... so after about 15 years, I figured it was just time for an upgrade! I've seen these kind of faucets on some cooking shows so I thought I would give it a try... it seems like with it pointing straight down, that more water would get in the sink and less would get on me... and sure enough it is a HUGE improvement! My original faucet had 1/2" male fittings on it, so I had to get some adapters. There was a card on the inside of the lid that told me what part number the adapters were, but unfortunately the item code given had no results, I guess it's outdated, so I had to search for it myself, but it wasn't too hard to find here on Amazon. Once I had the adapter fittings, It was quick and easy to install, and I had no leaks at all. It's a major improvement over my old faucet! I'm very happy with it. The only issue I have is that when I pull the hose out to spray something, it mostly pulls out ok, but the weight likes to get on top of things under my sink. I can probably make some kind of guide for it so it doesn't get caught up... it's really a problem with the way everything is arranged under my sink, it was just not really made with a retractable hose like this in mind. Overall this is a really nice faucet. It looks nice and it works well, and I like how it is pointing straight down, and not at an angle.

We are in the process of remodeling our laundry room and I was looking for a gooseneck faucet for my laundry sink. I ran across this one and so far it has not disappointed. I haven't installed it yet (still waiting on cabinets to be installed) but will up date this when I do. The construction of the faucet seems to be very well made. It comes with a fairly heavy weight which should keep the spout from drooping when not being used. It comes with an optional base plate but since my sink only has one faucet hole I won't be using it. I do like the fact it comes with a soap dispenser that can be filled from the TOP! You do not have to crawl under the sink to add soap!! The spout seems very flexible and the hose will be long enough for me to clean out my new laundry sink. (It's a 33x22 single bowl sink). The color is pretty. The gold is a soft gold, similar to champagne bronze. It's not orange or brassy looking. Should be relatively easy to find coordinating cabinet hardware. Another nice bonus is that it has a aerator tool so if it ever gets clogged you can easily remove it to clean. I think this is a great faucet for the price. Will update on performance once I get it installed.

This kitchen faucet is absolutely beautiful and very well made. I wasn't expecting much when I opened the package, but boy was I pleasantly surprised. From what I can tell there isn't a plastic part on this faucet. Our current brushed nickel faucet by Mo*n was an "upgrade" we selected when the house was being built, and this new faucet looks way more expensive that one. The color is brushed gold and goes perfectly with my brushed gold knobs and cabinet pulls I recently installed. I know I should've waited to review until the faucet was actually installed, but that won't be for another few weeks. I had to order a new garbage disposal air switch to match the faucet (our current one is brushed nickel). So once that comes in, we'll have the faucet installed....I can't wait. Although I think I could install this myself as it appears all the hoses are already attached, so installation seems like it is very straight forward; but I think I'll leave this one to the professionals. This is a beautiful faucet, and you won't be disappointed if you order it.
