This is a heavy, thick tarp that appears to be well made. I just purchased it. My only complaint so far is that the size is misleading. 6x8 is the "cut size". The "finished" or useful size was actually 5' 6" x 7' 6".

This is the nicest tarp I've ever bought. The construction, color, and quality is amazing. The ONLY thing negative is how smelly it is at first. So stinky! I don't know how to explain the smell, but I don't think it occurs in nature. So just know you need to open it up and air it out for a long time before using it. Maybe hosing it down would help. Luckily, I'm not using it near where I need to sleep or hang out so I'm good. But besides that, it's REALLY NICE. I use it over my chicken coop to help protect their house and to kind of block out the neighbors. LOL. It's not an eyesore like the last one I had. Recommend! Looking for a canvas tarp to cover entry into a shed during inclement weather. Needed the weight of canvas. It's well made and everything I was expecting, except the size is more 8x5 than 6. Hence the 1 star deduction. It was perfect for my purposes, but if I was expecting 6' , I would have been ticked. ... show more

Opened the package in the garage, hint. Let air in the garage for 2 weeks, now I can walk into the garage and it does not smell like a tarp. This was expected and I am happy with the product so far. Soon will come the real test. Outdoors.

I gave 4 out of 5 stars.. Pros: It is very thick and seems like it will be durable. Cons: It smells like crayons, or.. something. And the for the actual size....... 5'4" x 7'1" ( not 6'x8' ) But it will work for my application.

This is a nice thick tarp and looks like it will hold up well. I used it to cover a saltbox in the back of the dump truck to keep out water and snow. I will agree with others it does smell due to the weatherproofing, but it is outside so, it’s not a bother to me. Over the last couple of weeks been through 5 cheap plastic tarps, I should have bought this from the beginning! ... show more
