good product! Easy to use and has changed how I freeze food! My best friend has one and recommended it to me. So glad that I listened to her! I make our meals homemade versus buying processed food or food in a box. The ability to store food via these bags has streamlined the way I cook. I can make large batches of food now and pack it up into smaller portion sizes with these bags. I freeze them then pull out to use with ease. For bags I store items in like muffins or dry items like homemade bread, crackers, etc I will wash those bags and reuse them. They work just as good as when I used them the first time! I do not wash and reuse any bags that I had stored meat or dairy in FYI. The product comes with a wonderful instruction booklet that is clear and easy to read/understand. I like the look of this product and the ease of its use and the ease of its cleaning. It has a cord that is long enough for me to be able to move the product around on my counter. This machine does it all. Very pleased with its vacuum power and it’s easy clean up. The bag feeder is a bit strange, as you have to pull the bag out the back before you seal another bag. The auto recoil of the auxiliary tool is a great feature. It was well worth the investment. I use it multiple times per day. Best of the best by Food Saver! I originally had a vacuum sealer by Food Saver that lasted almost 20 years, but it stopped working properly. So, I bought a less expensive brand that did not have a removable tray for processing wet marinated foods and just did not operate as I had come to expect. Big mistake! I then ordered this one by Food Saver. Even though a bit more expensive, spend the money. It is worth it. This machine does so much. It’s easy to use and customer support is very helpful.     • Avoid the foodsaver brand entirely

I previously had a cheap model foodsaver for nearly a decade. Nothing fancy, but it worked. Finally died, so I bought this. Top of the line, most expensive model they offer, all the bells and whistles. But it started having problems almost immediately. After the bag detection, you have to physically press down on the cover to get it to form a good seal and vacuum air out of bags. The handheld attachment fails to get suction quite often, which is both related to the bad sealing (if the main gasket doesn't make a good seal, the attachment sealer won't pull a vacuum), and also a design defect in the attachment (there is a valve intended to prevent pulling liquid in, and the valve will often close just from normal vacuum pressure). Support is nearly non-existent, and truly horrible. Sure, they have a 5 year warranty. But once you finally get past their chatbot (and, really, did I? I suspect that their "human" reps are just more chatbot), they'll tell you they have no replacement parts (this is the top of the line model, how do they not have any spare parts?!), and if you try to replace your defective unit, they'll only offer to replace it with something that costs a third as much and has half the features. You will never get a replacement of your same model, at least not at the high end of the product line. They should be sued for failing to honor their warranty terms. Overpriced products with zero quality control and somehow even less support. Pick any other brand. I will never buy this company's products again. ... show more

So far I've been pleased. Did a ton of research before buying. Ended up buying one for both kids and use. Now hoping they stand the test of use even better. Loved our FoodSaver Vacuum system but have out priced themselves.
