Why did you pick this product vs others?: Great dehydrator! Easy to use, dries food evenly, and has plenty of space. I made fruit chips and jerky came out perfect. Very happy with it! 5 stars. I bought this because we are making our own jerky now and most of the options I can find had plastic grates for the shelves. The stainless ones that come with this are simple to clean, I just toss them in the dish washer when done and they come out clean. The machine itself works efficiently, being able to close the door lets it keep the temp consistent for the whole cooking time and it’s fairly quiet when running. We just finished our second batch of jerky with it and it worked as we needed it to.

The media could not be loaded. This is a great food dehydrator! It has a large capacity and YOU NEED IT! It took about 6 apples to fill this whole thing. It comes with a recipe book that is very informative and has interesting recipes in it, and the buttons on top are super helpful in automatically setting the machine. It does got get very hot so it will not ruin a countertop. All in all I would purchase this again in a second. Must Buy!!!

The media could not be loaded. I originally bought this dehydrator to make homemade meat treats for my mother-in-law’s many dogs and cats. It’s a bit pricey, so I was nervous at first, but wow, totally worth it! For my first try, I marinated beef slices overnight and dehydrated them at 167°F for 8 hours, flipping halfway through. I used air fryer liners on the trays (waiting for my silicone mats to arrive), and cleanup was super easy. The jerky turned out AMAZING, super tasty, not greasy, and way better than store-bought. My whole family loved it and we ended up keeping it for ourselves! Next batch will be for the pets! I’ll be making banana chips, apple slices, and peach rings next,can’t wait!
