    • This is DANGEROUS!!! Doesn't stop when you let go of the joystick
Update 5/8/25: I've been using this for about 6 weeks now and it is becoming more dangerous by the day. It has never stopped immediately when I let go of the joystick but now it doesn't want to stop at all. My feet slammed into a wall hard because it didn't stop. When I am on the slightest incline, it creeps forward or backward if I stop. The brakes are almost impossible for me to engage. They require Herculean strength. The joystick remains a pain in that it has a mind of its own as to when it will make a tight turn around or require 20 feet. And the incessant beeping!!!! I'm frustrated because I spent a lot of money on this. I cannot physically use a manual wheelchair so I couldn't send it back. I am in a wheelchair indefinitely and certainly cannot afford to buy something else. I can't give it less than the 1 star I already did but updated to warn that this is dangerous Original review: It comes with weird instructions about taking the battery box apart and having to install and connect the batteries yourself. So far three people haven't understood what you're supposed to do and haven't wanted to mess with the electric batteries. So I'm stuck after 2 months in the hospital having to use a manual wheelchair I can barely maneuver and trying to find somebody who can maybe put the stupid thing together. Nowhere does it tell you you have to disassemble the battery box and connect the batteries and reassemble everything and if it had I never would have purchased it. And of course being stuck at home in a wheelchair I can't return it and if I can find someone to hook it up and it works great maybe I'll update this review but right now I am beyond upset. ... show more
