I wish I could give this trike a 5 start review but I can’t. First my wife and I are over 70 years old so we ordered the second seat passenger package and the backrest for the driver. With the backrest installed it’s nearly impossible for my wife to get in the passenger seat and she is small at 4’11” I had to remove it. When originally ordered they said the rear passenger package would arrive 2 weeks later after I received the trike, a month and several emails later the rear seat package came. Today June 10th 2026 was our inaugural ride and we rode approximately 3 miles mostly downhill to get to the main bike paths that are mostly level and rode about 17 miles. I was in pedal assist mode 90% of the time but when returning in a slightly uphill route the bike pedal assist quit working so my wife and I had to push it to a level spot up the hill. Thinking it may be hot we wait for 40 minutes and called customer service and talked to a person with English as a second language and if that wasn’t difficult enough the insistent rooster crowing in the background made it difficult for a person with hearing aids to understand anything. I was told a technician would call in a few minutes that’s two hours ago and no return call. It quit working 3 more times in the last 2 miles home with waiting for it to start working. This is a very heavy bike to try and pedal uphill without pedal assist and don’t recommend the bike for seniors at all, or anyone else that would rather ride than push. After only 17 miles mostly flat ground we had only about 25% battery remaining. This is a far cry from the 100 miles advertised ... show more

I bought this in hopes of using it to replace needing to take a car to run local errands. I have used it couple of times and found it capable of meeting my expected need of hauling things like 5 gallon water jugs. TLDR: below is a more extensive review of the issues that I ran into putting the trike together. The company has videos to assist in assembly of the trike on both Amazon's website and on their homepage which is very convenient. The videos were helpful.I believe for anyone to be able to put the trike together themselves. There were issues, adding the modular conversion unit to the trike. Customer service was not the most accommodating in the matter, nor were they the most commodity regarding the front wheel hub and the bearings. Once I had everything assembled and began riding the trike, I found it to be very comfortable, very easy to use. And I would recommend it, or anyone that is looking for an electric trike. But be mindful that you may run into some issues in the assembly and be very aware of that factor. Based on the price that does upset me a little bit that I did have such a less than stellar interaction with customer service. The bike feels sturdy is more than capable to run around. Town, go up most hills. The electric assist worked very well. And you can actually feel when it is assisting while pedaling. You can also use it solely as an electric trike, and it does very well in that fashion. So if you can't pedal, it can assume the workload. The frame feels sturdy. The wheels feel sturdy. I will say that the handlebars you want to make sure you snug everything down properly. And I do wish that they would provide the torque specs for those matters. But if you're looking for torque, specs for the front wheel hub and the rear tires, they are found within the assembly video. I would have given this product probably three and a half stars if that was available in this case.I only gave it four because it was not that half star that I could deduct. Tried to add more photos but it keeps giving an error. Hope the 2 i added help a little. I compliment the company for their timely shipping of the Trike and the additional parts. It came in 4 separate packages; the seat back, modular conversion (required to add passenger seat or cargo platform), cargo platform and lastly the trike. The trike shipping weight was 146lbs. So you know the trike when fully constructed will be close to 100lbs. The basic trike comes with a small frint and rear basket if you don't need a passenger seat or cargo platform, that works well for smaller lighter items and doing local errands. The included rear basket come with a nice durable liner with 4 drain holes in the corners, plus you can remove the liner. I gave this 4 stars for several reasons. 1) Assembly of the trike itself was not extremely hard, but it does help to have a general knowledge of bicycle maintenance. It is a folding trike, but only folds in half at the huge step through down tube. The hinge is sturdy, but was very stiff to move. 2) The front wheel hub was making grinding sounds and was not spinning smoothly. Contacted customer service (will address later). I determined it was the bearing and had to repack the bearings as the had almost no grease in the hub. After repacking the bearing the wheel spins smoothly and no grinding sound. 3) Two of the electrical wires from the handle bars were disconnected, again contacted customer service, quick to respond but their reply was not as direct as I thought it should have been. Thankfully the connections appeared color coded it seems, but does not help when 2 of the 3 wires have the same color, the headlight wire connection was its own color orange making it easy to distinguish. The other 2 were for the brake light to activate when you use either the front or back brakes. It appears that it did not matter which was connected to which wire as long as the colors matched. 4) The modular conversion did not mount well. The bolt holes did not lineup properly to be able to easily mount the bolts. 2 bolts would lineup and struggled to get a 3rd bolt in, had to use a spud wrench and friend to line it up. The 4th hole could not get it to lineup and had to get a slighty thinner bolt, nut and washers to secure the 4th bolting point. Contacted customer service not of much help in this matter. Lastly, customer service was quick to respond, but it is all through email and you will notice the support team is in China. They wanted me to send videos which was very difficult.Because the size constraint for the email would not allow for videos in most cases. I did send them images.I took multiple photos.Indeed the issues. We did have to go back and forth multiple times over the course of a couple days. I was not pleased with their responses. With respects to the front wheel, their technicians stated that it was not the hub, but the brake roter. I sent them a video of the we'll assembly off of the bike then, and they said that what they were able to hear was normal.I totally disagree.I do have extensive history with building bicycles, maintaining bicycles and worked in bike shops. That's how I was able to determine that it was the ball bearings in the hub that needed repacked, and I was able to repack them. As for the issue with the modular conversion for the cargo rack, they lacked any empathy or understanding. Based on the fact that the basket provided for the rear of the trike mounted without any issues, all mounting holes lined up. I had to assume that the issue was the modular rack, and this mounting holes not lining up with the bolt holes in the frame of the trike. Customer service solved photos.They asked me if i was tightening the bolt down each one individually before adding the others.I explained to them.No, I know better that you don't tighten them all.So that you can adjust things as it goes.That did not matter.It was the alignment of two of the holes were definitely out of alignment. I was always able to get two bolts in no matter where I place them without issue.The remaining two bolts became issues. Customer service has close the case as of now with no resolution. Because I said that my resolution would be buying a slightly slimmer bolt and adding a nut to it. And washers to tighten it down and fully secure the rack in place. So I was pleased with the speed of customer service support replies, but I was not pleased with their answers or resolutions to the matter. I didn't have an issue that they were in China, but I do believe that there was a bit of a language barrier that made it difficult for me to thoroughly explain what I was witnessing. We bought this trike with my disabled daughter in mind so she could enjoy riding with us using the passenger seat. This trike is very well built. The metal is heavy duty and strong. The tires are thick and able to go over several terrains. It pulls hills well. We love that it’s quiet and also a smooth ride. The reverse function is a huge plus that I did not see in many other e-trikes at this price point. The weight capacity will last me and my daughter for many many years, and is almost 200 pounds over many e-trikes at this price point. Customer service is excellent, and the representatives are very responsive to questions and concerns. Overall, this bike feels like a steal at its price point and feels like a much higher end trike. ... show more

The bike is ok I guess; the angle of the handgrips need to be wider. Wife is 5'3" and seem like he wrists are bent out. Would be better not to have a curvy handlebar frame, rather straight across. The fenders are plastic which I didn't expect and the two rear ones have indents from the mounting gear. It was delivered on June 2nd. Been waiting on the rear seat like it said in the description. Been writing back wondering and finally they gave the whole scoop. It is out of stock and the shipment from California will be in another three weeks!!! Of course they charged the cost fully, seems pretty deceptive not to advertise that part which is why I purchased it for my wife. Guess I should have gotten a two wheeled ebike. It takes to long to receive the passenger seat and rack. Plus I tried to call the number supplied and it hangs up immediately! I thought it was a scam, But finally it came. Then I finally got it put together and took it for a ride and had it worked good for a couple of miles, then it set for a few minutes and went to put it away and it didn't want to work anymore, after about 5 mins of trying to troubleshoot the problem suddenly it started working again. This trike is very cool and a lot of fun. I would agree that this bike is very strong and fast with one rider on hills or two riders on level roads. However the hills where I live are pretty steep and it struggles to get both of us up a hill (325 lbs) combined weight. The bike seat for the driver (for me) feels a bit too close and I'm only 5'2", but I understand the need to be closer with two seats. Also for the driver the ride is very comfortable, the front shock helps with that. The passenger seat is comfortable, but if the road is bumpy the passenger feels an awful lot of it. I will also say that I like several others got metal rear fenders that were damaged in transport. Customer service was good enough to fix that issue for me and I appreciate that very much. They were quick to respond. It is a lot to assemble and the QR codes for some reason did not work for me, but if you search for the bike on youtube there are several videos to help you out. I had quite a bit of trouble with the holes aligning on both the original cargo basket and then the conversion kit. Seems 3 of the holes line up and then you struggle on the 4th. this happened on other video so it must be common. It was easily fixed by opening the bottom side opening a bit wider with a bit larger bit on the troublesome last hole. better to do that then to strip the bolts, though they do give you some extras. I would encourage you to watch a couple assembly videos before you even attempt to open the package. The one I like best isn't by the company it's actually by a consumer. It's very hard or it was for me to follow the instructions, I couldn't distinguish directions of items for several things by looking at the pictures.
