  • super light weight yet still sturdy and strong
I give this two thumbs up! its super light weight yet still sturdy and strong. It goes together nicely and fits in the little bag perfectly. Plus I think it was a steal for $129.00 you don't see titanium stove this good for that little.

  • Packed weight is 4.9 lbs
Heats a tent up fast! Don't let kids touch-very hot. Half full of dry wood, it burns for approximately 60 minutes with the air intake open. Packed weight is 4.92 pounds / 2.16 kg. Must be fully assembled / disassembled to move, ie, no folding parts (except for the door, which comes assembled and can stay assembled during transport. There are three tiny thumb screws for attaching the pipe interface to the stove, which need to be accounted for carefully. Gloves are surprisingly good, but not necessary. The stove comes in a padded case, similar to a laptop bag. The stovepipe rolling is tricky but manageable, even for first-timers (watch the Pomoly instructional video on YouTube). Stove pipe stands just under 8-feet / 2.4 meters tall when installed on the stove. Good quality for the price. ... show more

  • Buy it now if the price is right
This titanium wood stove is a true ultralight backpackers dream, and after a few trips, I can confidently say it's an excellent piece of gear. The weight savings are incredible, and it packs down so small you barely notice it in your pack. Once you get it going, it puts out a surprising amount of heat and boils water in no time. I am very surprised this is such a nice stove for the low price i paid. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is the assembly. It's a bit finicky when you're piecing it together. I've also found some of the edges to be a tad sharp, so you have to be careful not to snag anything. These are minor though, and once it's set up and running, it's a fantastic, reliable stove that I'm happy to have in my winter kit. ... show more

  • 10/10
For a hot tent stove, it is pretty good. Get additionally the "SoloWilder Spark Arrestor Screen Set Stove Pipe Filter 2.36" Chimney Rain Cap for Hot Tent Stove (Straight Spark)" as a spark arrestor and it even fits in the bag it comes with. Its a perfect setup for about $150 total. The material looks decent, hardware is good its not particular cheap, its better quality. It weighs on average of about half of most others do, for titanium it is about the same, but for the price it is half too. I haven't used it yet, but I am very impressed. It really needs no instructions once you learn how it assembles, its very easy. Get this and a good lightweight 2-3 person tent with the stove jack, and for under 10 lbs you got a great setup. The only thing I wish they gave was some spare screws and the brass looking tops, just in case, but its fine, its very good. For $130 there is no second thought. ... show more

  • Build,size, heat, all perfect
I have used plenty of fire places in tents now being from Montana late season hunts these are game changers. But this stove is my go too. The attention to detail is epic I paid 400 for my first one being titanium and new on the lot and light weight seemed worth it. Put merely 6 years later for 100 dollars here is everything a guy could ask for. Window to see a dampner built in 4 walls not a u turn all threads that don't get messed up in the fire adjustable legs I can keep going on. You can control the fire keep warm for the price point you can not go wrong but they built a perfect little stove. So thank you I am pleased. Ps get it hot and get your first burn done before it goes in the tent. If you don't know kinda cool touch it a ton before the burn you get really cool patterns after your hot burn. ... show more

  • Hassle to assemble especially when you are cold. Decent for price though.
A real hassle to put together. Small parts are easy to get lost. Very lightweight for the size though. Decent for the price.

  • Just as good as the name brand stoves
Worked great, I took it backpacking. With the rain and cold weather and wind, we were warm and dry for three days in the back country.
