  • Pretty good so far
Color: Yellow Style: Square Tube
I bought this ebike in November of last year and really didn't get to test it out until the weather recently got warmer. I have some actual user info and stats to share if interested. Unfortunately, part of my experience forced me to pedal the bike over 4 miles on gravel path because I ran out of juice. Just a warning, when you hit 2 bars consistently, you better be close to the finish. It goes pretty quickly through that 2nd bar and once you hit 1 bar, you MIGHT have a couple minutes left. The higher the PAS the faster you will deplete the battery. You can be riding PAS 2 with 4 bars and switch to PAS 5 and it might drop to only 2 bars while at 5. All the following info is based on a fully charged battery, carrying about 175lbs, pedaling constantly to the point of resistance, traveling on rolling, paved roads, only using PAS 2, and pedaling in 7th gear most of the way, and having the headlight on, though I doubt it uses a lot of electric. Using only throttle, a higher PAS, carrying more weight, unpaved surfaces, or going up steeper hills will reduce the distance you can go on the charge. I made it about 36 miles under the above conditions. The advertised distance is UP TO 80 miles. Based on what I got for PAS 2, I'm not thinking that would be the case. My educated guess would be PAS 1 under the same conditions might get you 45-50 miles, certainly not 80. PAS 1 goes about 8 mph so to go 50 miles would take over 6 hours. My butt can't take that long on the seat. I'm thinking PAS 3 would give you 28-30 miles, PAS 4 23-25, and PAS 5 20-22. Those are just educated guesses. If you were in throttle only those numbers will reduce. I will be testing out those other PASs later. PAS 2 goes about 14 mph on 4-5 bars, 13 mph on 3 bars, and 12 mph on 2 bars on flat ground. The speed each PAS allows depends on hills, weight, and battery strength. PAS 3 is about 18 mph, PAS 4 about 22 mph and PAS 5 goes about 25 mph. As the battery wears down you will lose 2-3 mph at each level. You can go over 30+ mph as it advertised but may require a lot of pedaling. Overall, the bike is pretty nice and seems as advertised, with the above explanation of distance (which I never really believed). It folds up fairly easily and can fit in most trunks, though it still weighs over 60 lbs. It handles nicely. The seat isn't the most comfortable. It could use a carrying device such as the basket or saddle bags. I recommend one of them or making something yourself to carry things (food, water, tools, etc) ... show more

  • Great E-bike for a good price.
Color: Green Style: Square Tube
I just got this today, earlier than expected. Box in good condition. Putting it together was relatively simple. Looks very nice. There is no suspension seatpost although pics look like there is. Front fender rubbing against front tire, probably needs an adjustment. Multi tool is nice but not long enough. Looks very well built. Love the color display. I have not yet ridden this, so will update this afterward. ... show more

  • Worth it! This bike is fun and easy to ride.
Color: Yellow Style: Square Tube
I received this bike today and could not be more pleased with it. Assembly was super easy and they provide all the tools. Everything works great. Everything looks high quality and I already put 20 miles on it this afternoon. It was the first time on a bike in about 20 years. It was most fun I've ever had biking. Just the right amount of workout for me. I love the look of it and although a slight struggle to lift (63 lbs), the folded bike fit easily in rear cargo area of my Pathfinder. The 7 gears work great and can be used effectively with the 5 levels of pedal assist to keep a nice comfortable pace. On a straightaway on pedal assist 5, I got it to 26 mph. I averaged about 18. Not bad for a 220 lb guy. The seat is fine but the lack of any suspension in the back did make some bumps hit hard. I think I am going to replace seat post to one with a suspension and add a wider seat as well. Lights are bright and brakes work well (only a trace amount of rubbing in the front one which I will adjust.) Overall I am very happy with this purchase and think it is a great value for what I paid. It will allow me to get some exercise as well as give me another option to get to work or around town. And with the big range of this bike, even cruise around surrounding towns, too. ... show more

  • 1 Week in review
Color: Yellow Style: Square Tube
Edit- I contacted seller and seems like it was just a faulty battery, they sent me a new one right away and it works great. Lasts about 40 miles or so with no assist, really fun bike. They even offered a new light but I declined since it was my fault of breaking the pin. Really good customer service. Breaks are really the only flaw, I'll probably replace them with some hydraulics at some point. Had this bike for a week, have had a lot of fun on it riding to work and back, has good power on hills, collapsible enough so i can store it in the back of my little Honda Civic, and seems really sturdy. Like the suspension and the display is great. 30mph is accurate, seems like a really good motor. I'm 6'4" and fit nicely on the bike. A few negatives however: -brakes are super squeaky -bike powers without a key. The key is used to remove the battery, which it does fine. But there is an on/off switch on the battery as well, and literally the switches do the same thing. On does what off does and vice versa. It's not a key fob either, I went 3 miles to work using the electric motor without the key on me, not sure what the off switch is supposed to do -Maybe I got a dud for a battery, but went for my first longish ride today, after having the battery charge all night, and it died on me after around 14 miles. There were some hills and I did lean heavily on the motor, but the 50 miles as advertised (using electric motor alone) is clearly not what I got in my bike. Also learned really quickly today that actually pedaling without the motor is HARD. The bike is heavy and along with the thick wheels it took some work getting home with a dead battery. -I'm gonna fault myself on this one, but the hookup for the front light to the motor is kinda tricky. Its a couple pieces of plastic you need to line up just right to get them hooked up together, and I fumbled it accidentally and broke off a prong on the light hook up so now I had to buy a new front light ... show more

  • Ok bike, no UL cert and bad power paddle.
Color: Yellow Style: Square Tube
Ok bike for the money, not the best power paddle experience, and the worst part is lack of UL certification for the battery. The Good: - Very powerful motor, I am around 220lb and it has no problem accelerating or going up the hills. In fact I usually don't go beyond the 4th level of power because it can go so fast (25mph+) and due to speed control issues that I will mention later I don't trust it to stop when I want it to. - The seat and handlebars are very adjustable and I haven't had any issues with them. - So far after 1 month of the use other than the gear, everything has holden up. The Bad: - The quality of the components are questionable, after one week of use I couldn't go beyond the 5th gear and I had to re-adjust its gears until I gave up. I'm wondering how long the other pieces will last. - Kicking the electric engine on and off via the paddle is a bad experience, it can be random and unpredictable. There is a delay when you start paddling before the engine kicks on, and the worst part, there is a delay when you stop paddling and the delays are not consistent (sometimes it is less than a second or a couple of paddles and sometimes more than a second). This makes the bike harder to control especially in the higher power levels. So expect to use the handle throttle to start and break to slightly slow down. One thing is that based on the manual there is a way to adjust the sensitivity of the paddles but I have not been able to get to the settings since the manual does not actually mention how to get into the settings. - The handlebar for the throttle is very uncomfortable and just using the throttle to run the bike is an uncomfortable experience. - It is very heavy, don't expect to be able to lift it unless you can lift around 80-90lbs easily. Ugly: - The battery is not UL certified (despite whatever the Amazon AI might say) there is no certification icon or any identifying mark on the battery. So there is always this worry that this battery can catch on fire. ... show more
