Great for elderly dogs!

Don’t let the description of this rail fool you. I bought it for my elderly, almost 15-year-old dog. She began falling off the bed a couple of months ago. I tried pillows. I tried chairs next to the bed. Nothing worked. I tried searching for bed rails for elderly people and this rail for toddlers came up. I honestly preferred this one to the ones for the elderly because of the mesh. It keeps my sweet dog on the bed and there’s no risk of her legs slipping through a metal rail. It’s already prevented her from falling. On the second night after I’d installed the rail, she nearly fell off the bed but this amazing mesh rail saved her! The rail didn’t move at all when she fell against it either. It’s high enough that it protects her medium sized frame from going over it. It’s also soft enough that she doesn’t injure herself if she falls against it. It’s very easy to install once it’s assembled and looks like it came with the bed. My cat even approves! My only complaint is assembly. It took me an hour to put it together when it should’ve only taken half that time. But I accidentally put the bottom rail through the top slot instead of the bottom. The instructions here aren’t that great. I feel like there’s a step or two missing or at least some instruction showing the direction or orientation of the rail while you’re assembling it. Once you realize that the picture in the instructions is actually upside down (showing the rail A going into the bottom and not the top of the fabric), it’s a pretty quick assembly from there. Overall, I highly recommend but just give yourself time to understand the instructions before you get started.

Strong rail, weak instructions

The bed rail works well. The size is as described, and it’s easy to fold down during the day and lift for the night. Now, about the instructions. Watch the video in slow motion. The written instructions are almost useless. The video with the listing is helpful, but it’s a little fast, so be prepared to stop it at the next step points. If you are an assembly genius, which I am not, then you may not need to stop along the way to see the next step one at a time. In which case, it’s a breeze and worth the money.

There is a small gap between the bed and the rail, but it hasn’t been an issue for us. Overall, it works well for the price. I bought the biggest one for my standard king size bed and I absolutely love it. I sleep walk, so it offers peace of mind there. Also helps to ensure baby can’t roll off the bed. It was easy to put together, slides under the mattress. It does leave a small little gap so things can slide to the floor if you put it too close (like your phone or controller). Overall I give it a 10/10 for the value, and peace of mind.

Easy to assemble, great for the price

The measurements were as listed, easy to assemble, and the latch is pretty quiet which is huge for toddlers who could startle while sleeping. It’s lightweight however I think it could be a little sturdier. Whenever it’s locked upright it does still have some movement, if you press on the netted part. It will still definitely prevent falls and I’m not worried about the actual locking mechanism failing. I just think overall if you’re willing to pay a little more there are probably better quality options. Overall, great value for the price and will definitely work for what we need.

Perfect for my king size bed. Fairly easy to assemble. I like that I can forks it down and it’s almost invisible and out of the way. Price is fitting due to the size I ordered. It’s comfortable due to the mesh fabric. It does seem to bend a little outward even with good insulation so I’m not sure if we got a faulty one or if that’s just how it is. But over all I would still recommend for your kids safety.
