I bought one smaller for kitchen sink and the tank had rust in it when I pulled the rubber cover off. This one had a power plug. I bought a larger 8.5 for the shower and it did not have the power plug but did not have rust. The both have operated at full temp providing what I need for over a month. Overall I would say very good units so far. I am making a video of the install in a fifth wheel and will update after longer testing period has passed.

i have been a loyal user of Fogatti with a few items in my properites already. so it didn't take me much time to buy another one as one of my new tenants requested a under sink water heater for a fourth bath room for her senior family members, which is a little far away from the conventional heater in the garage. It was easy to install, just connect cold water-in and hot water-out under the sink, one thing to keep in mind-obviously you need a power outlet which we usually don't have under bathroom sinks. So Get some help to set the power outlet up before your installation. it's also considerate enough to come with a Temp & Pressure Relief Valve, it's a saving of $20. Lastly, 4 gallon hot water is enough for a lot of things already, it does work great with the conventional hot water heater, it's a good plus to have in my occasion, no wait, no waste of water

Had problem with leaking pressure relief valve. Used Teflon tape made sure it was tight and it still leaked. Called the manufacturer support was told someone would get back to me within 2 hours to assist me. Never received a call back and I had to call back the next day. The tech ask me if i did what's listed above and I said yes. He told me to be safe return it. The Amazon Representative and Amazon were terrific they sent me a replacement I installed it and it works great.

Tried plumbing tape and the pressure relief valve still leaked. Sent it back for replacement. Saw the same thing happened to other people in the reviews and they were told to send it back. Will see what happens. Got another tank and the pressure relief on this one leaks too. Sick of this, will live without instant hot water for a while and see how that works. I would NOT get another Fogatti anything.
