I love this little water heater. It worked really great. I’m using it from last six months. Absolutely fine.

  • Great emergency hot water backup.
Size: 8 Gallon
PREPPERS take note: Bought this to use during loss of power. MY 6500 Generac can’t run my home water heater and well pump at same time. Plus no need to heat 50 gals of water each time during an emergency. This tank takes 15 AMPS, 1,440 watts. MY generator runs this heater, my well pump and rest of my house simultaneously no problem. The cord is exactly 3 feet long. Also I saw some complaints in other reviews about some drips at the connections which I also experienced, very minor. Plumber tape combined with putty worked first time. I had a plumber/electrician hook it into my electrical and water system. Recovery time is about 45 mins. I showed the included hardware including mounting “anchors” in my pictures. I would NOT attempt to hang this with anchors into drywall. It weighs 90+ pounds full. I mounted it on an 18” long 2x12 screwed into adjacent studs. Two separate 2x4s would also work. Reaches above 130 degrees, gives a nice full 3 min shower using our large 6” showerhead. A water saver would give a much longer shower. Very happy I bought this unit. I posted a Fogatti Etank 8 Gallon Electric Emergency Hot Water Heater video on YouTube showing specifics including how I hooked it up. I won’t put the link here because I’m afraid this will “bounce” my review and I don’t want to type it again - you can find the YouTube video I’m sure. ... show more

  • Works Well...Install harder than it should be.
Size: 2.5 Gallon
I added this under the kitchen sink because the whole house water heater is distant and it seemed like forever for the hot water to arrive. Given this is just below the faucet .... hot water is there within a few seconds. It also seems to heat quickly, especially for an only 120 volt device. That may also be because i have it set at lower temperature. Speaking of the setting of the temperature, there is a dial that goes from OFF-MIN-MAX. It would be better if there were actual numerical values....as you're only guessing with the dial. Now for the not so great aspects....the fittings, hot out, cold in, and pressure relief. They all seem to be made from some synthetic molded material. You are cautioned to be careful to not cross thread. This is for good reason as the threaded material is soft. It would better if they included some standard transition pieces preinstalled to use when making the line connections. It took me much longer than it should have to end up with connections that didn't leak. I have a tendency to over tighten things...and just knew I'd end up twisting something off. Making the hot out connection to the existing faucet line was the most troublesome as I was stuck with what was there...it came straight from the fixture and was a real pain to get it to connect to the 1/2" MIP hot water out. ... show more

  • Guarantee is BS * Non Working Unit & No Support
Size: 4 Gallon
This item arrived and was installed by a professional plummer. It did not work, at first it was due to that there’s an internal circuit switch that flips the unit off. Upon finding this I reset it only to learn that it continuously flips, each day! This heater is in a rental unit and so my tenants call me daily to say there’s no hot water and then I flip it. I called the company, and after far too many slow interactions with them, they offered to send a new unit (same one) after I returned the old. I explained that I can’t pay a Plummer twice : to de install the bad unit, then install the new one. I already spent $250 getting this non working unit installed. They offered no options, did not provide the guarantee on the produced and will not refund it. Customer service was provided by folks for whom English is not their first language and they had not technical knowledge whatsoever. Hold music had chineese voice prompts. I would not purchase anything from this company again. I lost weeks of rental income as a result of this companies bad service and product. ... show more

  • Good Price on nice under-cabinet hot water heater
Size: 2.5 Gallon
We have very hard water and I've gone through two (2) Bosch/Ariston under-cabinet heaters which last about four years each. I realized after removing the last one that it said, "replace anode every two years". Oh, well, you live and learn. I ordered these Fogatti units (three of them, one for each sink) as they were less expensive and if they are going to corrode to death in four years, why pay more? (I also ordered anodes for my other Bosch units, we'll see if that helps). The Fogatti was easy to install and included ALL parts, even teflon tape! The temperature knob on the Fogatti is fat easier to use than the Bosch/Ariston heaters. So far it works fine - scalding hot water just the way I like it, the moment I turn on the tap! We'll see if these last longer than the Bosch. One issue is the anodes on this unit are not easy to change (they recommend checking them every year!). I'll pull it apart in two years and see if it needs changing. Hard water is a PITA! ... show more

  • Easy install, hot water!
Size: 2.5 Gallon
Struggled with instant-on heaters that never quite got the water hot unless you poured a trickle, these bring hot water almost immediately and fully hot. I just had to get used to not running it continuously or it would run out before I was completely shaved but prudent use of water gives a very good result. In my case, actually split the output to feed two sinks, which is even better than the use of instant-on style ... show more

  • A year later...
Size: 4 Gallon
We bought it because our hot water tank is so far from our kitchen sink. Instead of running water for 40 seconds to get to the warm stuff we now have it instantly. We tried on demand but it needed a lot more power to get more than a trickle. A great solution for us.
