This is a nice little stove, but I would only use it for heat, not cooking. The ventilation and airflow is great and it was very easy to light. It's a little too small for anything but a very small caravan or sheep trailer. I tried boiling a liter of water and it never got hot enough to actually boil it, but you could probably use a frying pan and cook eggs or something easy. It's very dirty cooking over wood fires, so you'll have a lot of soot to deal with, and I don't think it's quite sturdy enough for a cast-iron skillet or something heavier than a simple mess kit. My only issues, really, is that it's just a little too small, and the latch is a bit too tight to easily lock the door after putting more fuel in. It's so small that you'll need to constantly put wood in, and only little pieces (less than about 6 inches long).

I got the stove for a work deployment trip hoping to use it in the field soon I'm still having to get the chimney for it though but it should prove to be a worthy stove or heater for the most part
