Ok quality. I'm not sure how long it will survive. It feels a little prone to crumbling. I'm using it to dampen vibration on a fan motor housing. It will work fine for that.

I bought this to add a seal between the wall and new HVAC registers being installed. The foam is very dense and the adhesive was strong enough to hold the tape in place. I needed more than the 1/8" thickness because the registers have a lip around the edge, so I just used two layers of tape. The tape adhered to itself fine and that gave me a seal almost 1/4" thick. Once the registers were mounted to the wall, you could not see the foam tape, however a complete seal was obtained to there will never be a dust ring where escaping air passes behind the register grill. This is an excellent product and would recommend it for sealing registers or sheet metal panels.

I used the seal on both the doggy door and house to garage door. So far so good. It certainly cut down on the noise at the doggy door as previously I just jammed the slider against the dog door panel. The EPDM foam has a strong adhesive that feels secure after you press it into place. It also compresses well and doesnt affect door closure. I also noticed a drop in bugs intruding into the house. I have only had them for a couple months so durability is TBD. Note, the pictures make it look wide no matter what size you select. PROS ✅ Very flexible - easy to shape around corners ✅ 50 feet roll length is a good length/price ✅ Compresses well without losing shape CONS ❌ Residue after removal TIPS 💡 Surface prep - clean the surface and allow to dry before applying the seal

Maybe it’s just the type of material—perhaps I bought the wrong kind of tape—but I find it to be a little too resistant to compression. Using it around an air conditioner in a window, it does the job I think but there are a few places I just couldn’t use it because it was too hard to allow things to properly close over it or secure around it. I’m used to a softer foam tape That is more compressible and malleable.

This product is fantastic for enhancing the seal around windows when you’re installing your AC unit for the summer. I also used it to effectively seal the front door, where the stripping had started to come off. It's a simple solution that makes a noticeable difference on the power bill.
