I was happily surprised at the comfort and quality of this chair. At such a reasonable price point I thought it would be made of subpar materials. Not so! It was easy to assemble, taking me less than 10 minutes. It's comfortable and wow, does it roll easily and smoothly on a hard wood floor! My son thinks I got him a spinning race chair. I like that the arms tilt up out of the way. It makes it easier to tuck it neatly under a desk or table without sticking out too far into the room. The lumbar support is perfect for me. I need a bit more support in that area as bone spurs make my back ache terribly. The wheel base is a hefty, solid material that I have confidence will not easily break. The seat cushion is on the firm side, not squishy or too thin. All in all, this chair is very comfortable. It encourages proper posture with great support. Chair arrived well-packed. Easy to unpack. Easy to assemble with clear, unambiguous instructions. Everything needed to assemble is included. Chair frame is plastic; strong with ‘give’. Upholstery is a synthetic materials as is the vented panels. Arm cushions and seat are the more vulnerable components to damage, but the frame of the chair would, most likely, survive a drop from a third story window! Little to go wrong and difficult to abuse (save the aforementioned fabric details). I do wish it had a spring-loaded back, but is comfortable, nevertheless. Buying more than one for an office? I was really loving this chair. It was super easy to set up and is really comfortable to sit in for extended periods of time without hurting my back. I've had it a little over a month though and the chair cylinder is broken already. We purchased this chair for my sons college dorm & he loves it. He love that the arms fold up so he can slide under/closer to his desk. He loves the width of the chair seat is a little bigger and the length is a little longer. My sons is 6‘3“ and says the extra 1.5 inches in length makes his legs feel comfortable unlike some other chairs. The chair is comfortable especially for a college student studying who spends a large amount of time in it studying.
